tigerlily
Romeo y Julieta (who have an Italian ice cream (gelato) shop in Chapala have opened another shop in San Antonio Tlayacapan, across from the Corona distribution warehouse. They have about 20 delicious flavors and I think the prices are reasonable - same as other ice cream places. IMO Gelato is better though. Just thought I'd mention this for those of you who have not yet tried this place. As the old quote goes, "Try it, you'll like it!"
lakeheron
It is impossible to describe the euphoric taste and texture of their gelato. They have a chocolate hazelnut (maybe called Bonbon?) and a fruit flavor, Caribe, that are just out of this world. It's pricey but worth it!

Shira
It is Bon Bon Roche and it is my favorite. Just thinking about it makes me want to leave the house and head over there. Unfortunately for my taste buds and fortunately for my waistline it is already closed for the night.

Italy is a little far to go whenever you want a gelato, in the meantime Romeo and Juliet is a very good alternative. Tried it yesterday and it was delicious!
