Arthur733
My wife and I will be spending March in Chapala. We're trying to learn what Spansih we can before we leave. What are our options for continuing this education once we get there? Thank you.
gringolandia
No one speaks Spanish in Mexico so you won't be able to keep up with your education......
Mainecoons
You're bad! Arthur, stop in at the Lake Chapala Society on 16 de Septiembre. All kinds of information there about Spanish classes. And the grounds are simply stunning.
Tingting
There are so many options down here....but one personal recommendation: when you take classes here, take them from a native. There are several excellent instructors that will start you at whatever level you'll be on. Also, there are some terrific books and/or CDs that you can get at your bookstores to begin (believe it or not, the computer program " Spanish for Dummies" is very good--the speakers are latin american, the lessons are logical and it gives you feedback on your accent if you use the interactive mode). Buena suerte! Tingers
Kiko
I went to a language school in Joco today to check on spanish classes. Apparently I am the only applicant at this time; I will talk to the director tomorrow about courses. They're looking for more interested persons to make a class. The number is 387-763-2650 if anyone is interested.
