kapakahi
I was at a meeting in Mazatlan where the head of immigation spoke. One of the questions was re: volunteering in Mexico. He stated that one needs to have a notation placed on their FM3 that indicates they are volunteers. He said this is provided at no cost at the immigation office. If you are an organization who uses volunteers the organization can register with immigration along with the proper Hacienda form. Then that organization can provide a letter for each of their volunteers to take to immigation to have the proper notation placed on their FM3.
