p598738
Coming in with an RV towing a car. Have a small dog. So far: Passports and driver's licenses Dog health info Car and RV ownership papers Purchase Mexican insurance ATM card and some US cash GPS (work in Mexico ??) Fill gas before crossing. Also: Texas tag to get to the crossing (for both RV and car ??) Anything to add or even a more compete list ?
MountainGal
Plenty of Mexican Pesos. A good map, like the Gui Roji Gran Atlas de Carreteras (your GPS will be questionable). If you don't already have your car permit, make sure you have a credit card in the same name as the car and RV title.
Doolittle
You'll need: 1. a Mexico chip for your GPS. 2. multiple copies of all vehicle documents You're allowed one permit per person for the vehicles, so one of you gets it for the RV and the other for the car. Get your insurance online in advance of reaching the border. Cross early in the morning to avoid the rush.
