deepcanyon
Can anyone tell me what Rick & Heidi are up to since they left 60's? Thanks in advance.
Kathy
Yes I can. They sold 60's for a new challenge - they opened the Early Bird Cafe - for breakfast on OCampo - near Manix and Pedros but on the south side. I am not a good morning person so I have not yet been but have heard nothing but rave reviews and for the standards that they set up with 60's I cant imagine that what I have heard is wrong. Enjoy. My wife and I ate there a couple of times during our stay in Ajijic. Enjoyed Rickie's Thai a lot also.
maw7815
And the new people running 60's in PARADISE are doing a great job same as the old owners. I just ate at 60's last week and was happy to see that they serve breakfast all day. I ordered the Trini Lopez omelet that had chili inside and sour cream and salsa on top. It also came with fried potatoes and 2 pieces of toast for 50 pesos. I was happy to find out that my ice tea with free refills was included in the price! Coffee and tea come free with breaffast. I found out from the waitress that that is their most popular omelet. It was great and will be back for another. maw
ajijiccharlie
If anything, 60's in Paradise is even better under Rick and Leigh. BTW, I had a really bad breakfast at the Early Bird. The "biscuit" was some strange food form and the sausage was dry and tough. I was surprised and disappointed.
