  1. LOST SERVICE DOG - URGENT: Bella, our beloved dog is still missing (4 days now) but we have new hope if you help us. Bella has a "Tile" bluetooth GPS tag on her collar that transmits to cell phones within 150 feet running the "Tile App". If you are Lakeside, PLEASE HELP US. It will take less than 5 minutes and may SAVE Bella's life. TILE INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Download the Tile App (no cost), quickly create an account, and enable Tile Notifications: /www.thetileapp.com/es-mx/ 2) Message me (+1 415 746 0768) with your email address used for Tile account. 3) We'll "Share" her collar tile with your account and you will see it in your Tile app. 4) Keep the Tile app OPEN in your cell's background and make sure Bluetooth is "on." The main top Tile icon will light up green if you are within range of her. If you get a signal, call me at +1 415 225 3258 PLEASE, at ANY hour. "Tile" does not access your data; any website about it confirms it is a legitimate app. Alone, finding Bella is a needle in a haystack but with Lakeside community help it becomes a dragnet and we will find her!! If you don't want the reward we will give it to a shelter. Please also SHARE this info.😭 OUR BELLA: Bella got scared of the fireworks and jumped out of a crack through an under-construction elevator shaft and dropped 9ft from our house at 6pm Thursday night and does not have the skills to survive on the street. She is a 10-year old white Maltese, ten pounds/4+ kilos, last seen on Rio Lerma in Rancho del Oro. Small but fast so she could have covered a good distance by now. Friendly, approachable, loves kisses. Wearing a blue/yellow/red striped collar with white GPS Tile tag. Silver name tag reads Bella and gives both "415" and "650" phone numbers for Mel and Aura, and a California address. She is visiting and not likely to know the way back here. If you find her please call 376 766 2863 or +1 415 225 3258. If you have friends around Lakeside, please SHARE this post. 🙏 We're beyond devastated and just want or baby back. 💔
  2. Hi there! We are hoping to tile our home in Tamazula with rustic Spanish style Terra cotta tiles. Is there a place in the Chapala area where we may find them? Thanks for any leads!
  3. I'd like to recommend Antonio Nuñez as an excellent overall home maintenance, renovation and construction contractor. The work he has done for us includes a complete casita renovation (including new tile flooring), a complete bathroom renovation, extensive selitre repair, lots of interior and exterior painting, and even creating and installing a wrought-iron security gate over our CFE meter. Antonio SPEAKS ENGLISH and is an extraordinarily honest, trustworthy and very nice guy. Here is his contact information: Antonio Nuñez Antonio’s Cell Phone: (333) 474-4322 Antonio’s Home Phone: 766-2057 Alex
  4. I have a small but mighty kitchen and it has seen better days. I am looking for someone locally who does quality kitchen remodels. We are looking at gutting everything and having new cabinets installed, new floor tile and granite countertops. Does anybody have someone they have used recently with good quality and prices?
  5. Anybody have a referral for a skilled laborer? I am planning to replace the front of my building with cantera stone and change maybe 2 to 4 of the bathrooms. Need someone to take old stone off front and prep and install new stone and in the bathrooms take out old tile and install new tile on floor and walls. Prefer to hire someone locally who has been a long standing member of the community.
  6. Interested in recommendations for a Landscape Designer and the components of building our new garden. Our project will include a wall fountain with tile work, one foot high raised flower bed with concrete ledge, a flagstone patio and irritation. Input about: a good irrigation installer, a good landscaping crew, a good tile worker, a good mason and anything else you'd like to add is greatly appreciated. If you would care to share your advice, experience, costs and photos of your garden with a PM that would really be super as we have zero landscaping and this looks to be a medium sized endeavor. We would sure appreciate seeing photos of gardens, fountains, raised flower beds & such to see examples for inspiration and examples of the worker's work. Gracias in advanced for your time and input.
  7. Our shower stall is tiled with what I assume to typical low-fire glazed red tiles. A white blushing stain is appearing on the tile wherever the water gets to it. I have already done the following: 1. Treated the affected area with dilute muriatic acid which seemed to remove the stains completely. 2. Sealed the entire surface tiles, grout and all with an acrylic sealer, two coats. This is heavy duty stuff, def not porous in any way, dried cured and ready to go. 3. Three days later the stains are back as before. It appears the stains are on the surface of the acrylic and not leaching out from the tile under the sealer. Any ideas how to remove the gunk and stop the problem from re-occuring? Thanks!
