Hi there, I am a single, clean, quiet lady with a compassion for dogs. I am looking for a petsitting position in the Ajijic area anytime beginning October 1st. I have fostered and rescued many dogs from Mexico and volunteer at the Ranch here in Chapala and for various rescues in Puerto Vallarta. I am high energy and will keep your pet well exercised and loved. I am currently doing a sit in West Ajijic so would be more than happy to get acquainted with your pet before I arrive. Please contact Cari at firstname.lastname@example.org or on my cell at 331 705 0466. I can provide many references. Thank you!
Hi everyone, We are newly available to house-sit during the month of October if you need us. We'll be in San Juan Cosalá in September & then again from November to January. But October is open. Best way to contact us is by e-mail: email@example.com A bit about us: We are two mature professionals who love to house-sit as we carry on our online careers. I'm Charles Doersch (60), a professor with the University of Colorado who currently teaches online courses from abroad, and my partner is Sean McCollum (54), a successful children's education writer with more than 40 books published, with ongoing contracts at National Geographic Kids, Teaching Tolerance, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. We returned to house-sitting in Mexico (Michoacán at the moment) in March after house- and pet-sitting in Panama, the US, and Spain. We were previously in Ajijic/SJC/Chapala from August 2015 to January 2016. Now we will be house-sitting Lakeside from September to the end of January 2018. If anyone needs house-sitting between Oct. 9-31, 2017-- please consider us. You can check out our credentials (with many references) at these hyperlinked sites HouseCarers.com, TrustedHousesitters.com and MindMyHouse.com. We do not charge for house-sitting. It is our privilege and pleasure to take care of lovely homes and estates, and beloved companion animals (--including horses). The housesitting sites I've linked above have plenty of information about us and our experience. **However, please don't hesitate to contact us directly if you're at all interested in knowing more about us and our availability. BEST is contacting us by e-mail Charles.Doersch@gmail.com.
My partner (Kai) and I (Sheila) have been providing free*, full-time, house and pet sitting services in the Lake Chapala area for over 3 years. We are homeowners ourselves and we have much experience caring for homes and pets. We have many local references. We have an opening from June 14th through the end of August and are currently considering sits of 4 weeks in length or longer. We sometimes consider shorter assignments if it fits in to our schedule &/or fills a gap between assignments, so it doesn't hurt to check in with us if you have a need for a sitter, even if it is for less than a month. Our website details our experience and shares more about us = http://www.housesittingbycycle.com/. We are also members of HouseCarers, a professional house sitting association. If you're looking for exceptional & professional house & pet sitters from June 14th through the end of August, please contact us with your details (dates needed, number of pets and/or no pets, responsibilities, special needs, etc.) and we'll get back to you A.S.A.P.. Thank you! ~Sheila & Kai [*We offer our services for free because we feel it is a mutually beneficial exchange. We adore animals and sitting allows us to travel, live and work in beautiful places around the world. We earn our income through other means (rental property & remote online freelance work). We provide care and security for your home and/or pet(s) while you provide us a place to live and work remotely via the internet. We feel this is a win-win situation for everyone involved.]
Good morning all! I wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself and offer my free services as a housesitter. I’m one half of a bilingual Mexican-Canadian couple. We live in Guadalajara, but we are looking to relocate lakeside in the near future. The big city is getting to be a bit too chaotic and we’d like less traffic and more hiking trails! Housesitting is the perfect way for us to get to know different areas of Jalisco before committing to purchasing our own home. During the holidays, we are normally found housesitting a large beach home in the bay of Chamela, but this year our scheduled housesit is undergoing major construction after being hit hard by Hurricane Patricia. As locals, we have managed situations ranging from escaped horses, flash flooding, power outages, snake and scorpion bites, and everything in between. We are also accustomed to dealing with everyday Mexican bureaucracy at CFE, Megacable, Zeta Gas, etc. Finally, we have a 4x4 off-road capable vehicle (we are “xtrailers”) and we’re not afraid off large or remote properties and the upkeep that they require. Each of us runs a telecommuting business and we work from home during the day. We also have a loving, well-behaved rescue dog that travels with us. He is well trained and personable, but he has also proven to be an effective "guard" dog in the past and alerted us when someone was trying to break in. If anyone is looking for short term or long term assistance, please let me know. We are happy to drive out to the lake (or elsewhere) to meet in person! And if anyone has any questions on matters pertaining to Guadalajara, please consider me a willing resource. Saludos! - Jo
