  1. Does any one have experience and/or recommendations on in-home care services in Ajijic - preferably someone with formal nursing or elder care training. Things like changing a dressing, helping getting to/from bathroom, light meal preparation. Looking for post-hip surgery assistance in home for 3-6 weeks. The care giver does not need to live in but that would be an option as there is a casita. Thank you!
  2. My husband is a youngish man suffering from dementia and other medial conditions. He doesn't qualify for assisted living. I need assistance occasionally as well, so after looking extensively at alternatives at Lakeside, I would like to try to find someone to live in, cook light meals, and assist us. But I have no idea how much this would cost us. We would pay a fair wage along with IMSS, but we don't know what a "fair wage" is. It does not have to be and RN, and some English would be appreciated. Any one have ideas or suggestions on this?
