  1. From our veranda in Villa Nova we can see a long trail of fire going down the mountain to the east. Anyone know what is happening?
  2. Surprised no one has mentioned the explosion?/fire at the Jardin's Club Exotica on friday night around 11:30. Luckily no one was injured ,but yesterday they were closed and taking out rubble by the truckload.the Semanario Laguna has an article about it,but only with info from the immediate result with no follow-up...
  3. Did anyone else see the huge fire on the mountain between San Juan Cosala and the Raquet Club tonight? It looked huge, but there were never any sirens. You can see pictures here: https://judydykstrabrown.com/2016/05/01/omg-the-entire-mountain-in-front-of-my-house-is-on-fire/ It seems to have died down now that the wind has died down but I can't believe no one else has mentioned it. There is still a small fire up above around where the cross used to be. Click on the photos to enlarge them.
  4. Up the mountain in La floresta at the end of Paseo del lago there is a fire. The floresta policy advised the fireman. I know they will just supervise, but it is security to know they been advised.
