All are invited to join us for our annual Dine and Dance for La Ola charitable fundraiser at Adelita Bar & Grill on July 12th at 6pm. The Jam Band will perform live in addition to a spectacularly entertaining live auction and a special discounted food menu including à la carte selections. Collective Art Exhibit at Casa de Cultura, Ajijic Plaza "Masters y Their Proteges" Saturday July 4th, 2015 Opening Reception 5 p.m. A collection of work by several of our best, local masters alongside the work of their protégés, will be on exhibit. This exhibit will allow a glimpse into the future, highlighting artists destined to become our next generation of Maestros. The event will consist of grouped exhibitons, lectures, living art "in-progress", music, food, pre-Hispanic dance and music. An air of youthfulness will abound. Road is the same entrance as to the Chapala Media Center directly across from the Michelin Tire store and entrance to Hotel Perico.

No entrance fee but there is a 20 p parking fee. The Hotel Perico is also offering a BBQ lunch menu both days. Everyone welcome! Competitors are coming from Guadalajara, Mexico City, Aguascaliente, Toluca agility clubs as well as a few local Lakeside participants. Three runs per day.   11. Robert Burns, Scotland’s greatest poet, was born on January 25th and on that date, around the world; we celebrate with pipes, kilts, haggis and dancing. Ajijic is no exception: We invite you to mark your calendars now and join us on January 25th at 5PM for an evening of Scottish entertainments, a wonderful dinner and ‘a wee hauf’! The festivities start with bagpipes and Scottish Country Dancing, which you can enjoy with our very own Ajijic Scottish Country Dancers ! They will invite you to join them on the floor for a ‘birl’! We hope you will ‘Brawlie’ (bravely), wear some tartan and join in the Grand March. There will be a delicious dinner, including haggis and a wee dram to go with the Toasts. To round out the evening there will be a Scottish sing-along including Auld Lang Syne. Location: Hotel Real de Chapala We’ll begin the evening in the Salón Camichín, on the lower level to the right of the stairs and then, the tartan wearers will march us in to the Salón Eucaliptus for dinner.
