  4. What cooking classes do you know of that are currently being offered in the Lakeside area, or coming up? Any style of cooking is ok. Thanks,
  5. I'm looking for good sources for beef brisket to cook at home. I know dry-aged beef from Hermosillo, Mexico is the best... other than Kobe Beef, from Japan. So I tried Sonora Beef at http://www.sonora-beef.com/ and found an interesting selection of beef and other meats (with prices) and thought some of you other carne-lovers might enjoy the site. The tiny URL link below is a Google translation to English of the product-line and price page. http://tinyurl.com/sonorabeef Please do not forget to post your suggestion(s) about other sources to get top quality beef (particularly briskets, which seem to be quite hard to find, here.
  6. I would love to learn how to make regional dishes while here in Lakeside. Does anyone know of classes that are offered? Or, a good cook that's willing to give lessons?
  7. I am trying to make my own lowfat cocoa and have a recipe that calls for Dry Milk Powder and unsweetened cocoa powder. Does anyone know if there are Mexican brands of both of these items and if so where I can find them? If you have at least seen the imported Dry Milk Powder somewhere let me know that, although a Mexican brand of both items would be far less costly. Thanks for your assistance. Blondie
