We currently have a propane range in our kitchen. It's a bar-bones range... no broiler, doesn't get very hot. I am considering replacing it with an Bosch induction range like the one we have in the states. Does anyone have experience with using electricity to cook with? Is it much more expensive than using propane? It would be a project because we would have to have a 40 amp 220 v circuit put in behind the range.
I just had a great experience with an appliance repair person so I thought I would share. My older Mabe oven just wasn't coming up to temp and it was really impinging on the baking results. I called Alberto Farias. He came when he said he would and phoned enroute to let me know he was on his way. He has worked in the US and is certified to work with A/C units (the big ones or the mini-splits). He also works on heaters, plumbing and electrical. He will even do 24/7 emergency calls, and yes he speaks english. House Doctor 331 706 9407 / 387 763 1200
