  1. It's back. We again have the US PBS station from Boston, being rebroadcast via a LEGAL repeater at 107.1 FM. But here is the catch. The repeater station is being broadcast at such low wattage that the signal is very very weak. And about the only place you can get it is in central Ajijic. A radio station broadcasts at a power of maybe 50,000 watts. This small repeater station broadcasts at a power of a watt or 2. which is next to nothing and therefore legal. So when driving through Ajijic on the Carretera, set your radio on FM and tune to 107.1 and listen to US PBS radio.
