  2. The Ajijic Fishing Club went to Christiana Park on April 30th to provide some fishing fun for kids attending "Kids Day" at the park. Hundreds of kids attended and a lot of them came to us and spent some time catching plastic fish in a few inches of water. It doesn't sound very exciting, but even after we ran out of prizes, the kids kept coming, smiling, laughing. We probably won't be remembered by the kids, but the parents thanked us . Possibly they will be Fishing Club members some day.

Some have visitors and do not have tackle for them. Whatever the reason, the Ajijic Fishing Club has the answer. Club members have donated fishing gear and tackle to be provided on loan for those needing it. We are providing complete packages of tackle including rods, reels, line, tackle boxes complete with all the hooks, lures etc. you'll
  4. The Ajijic Fishing Club is meeting Monday Nov 2nd at Dona Lola Restaurant at 9:00 am. Some topics for discussion will include a stocking program for Aqua Milpa, a trip to the tackle store in Guad and a trip to Barra de Navidad in January for salt water fishing. Be sure to show up early and bring a friend. Remember, the early bird gets the worm. :-)
