  1. I added a link to that post Angus. I believe her desire is to just be able to cope and help with her anxiety but to stay grounded. The THC may seriously complicate the problem because of the "high" and may also exacerbate the anxiety. Depends on the individual. imho, she should be seeing a Medical Doctor who is well versed in Medical Cannabis (which includes Cannabidiol) that will help her wean off the Ativan. Having anxiety and being unable to cope can have a devastating impact on your quality of life. I wish her success.
  2. I would try a CBD oil before a cannabis that contains THC. There is no high with CBD (cannabidiol) made from hemp. Just a calming effect. https://www.anxiety.org/is-cannabis-an-effective-treatment-for-anxiety-what-research-shows
  3. I have had CBD made from hemp coming in to Mexico THROUGH ADUANA since 2014. It is legal because the THC content is negligible to non existent. CBD doesn't have ANY psychoactive capabilities. CBD stands for CANNABIDIOL which is one of over 100 different cannabinoids that are possible for the plant to produce. https://nuleafnaturals.com/is-cbd-oil-legal-in-mexico/
  4. Well after further review I now know what happened ...somewhat embarrassing. 1) searching "CBD" does not yield any results as I found out, not enough letters I guess 2) I'm actually not familiar with the word "Cannabidiol" and when I read it in the thread , my mind subconsciously autocorrected it to Cannabidoil which even now seems logical and correct to me, CBD oil after all . Then even when Ferret pointed out the spelling error, I still missed it. There must be a word for this autocorrect habit of the brain....I was locked into my autocorrected spelling and glossed over what I thought was incorrect spelling 3) I thought for sure I copied and pasted Cannabidiol, don't know what happened sorry for the confusion, the search function work fine as long as there are more that three letters I slipped in the iol...
  5. Gotcha. I'm using Firefox as a browser and that's how I got all the links by just typing in the word "cannabidiol" and using "everywhere". The same search using Internet Explorer 11 also yields the same results. You have to scroll down to find them all. So, what browser are you using because those are the only two I have?
  6. Here is what I got by searching this site with "Cannabidiol"... watch your spelling. https://www.chapala.com/webboard/index.php?/search/&q=Cannabidiol
  7. Be very careful what you buy. Any product that does not state exactly the quantity of Cannabidiol (all by itself) on the label is questionable. It is not enough to say 25 mg. of "hemp extract" because that tells you boodiddleysquat.
  8. I don't think that the search function will work with just three letters. Search for Cannabidiol and several links will appear.
  9. Because each of us is unique, I found this article to be of interest. As a narcoleptic with cataplexy, I "discovered" cannabis oil in December of 2014. My hubby decided he wasn't going to use it because he wanted to be clear headed and functional right 'til the very end. He suggested that I try it at night because he said it was definitely sedating. Normally, I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat BUT the quality is lacking because I don't get enough "deep" sleep and have an overabundance of REM which leaves me dragging my butt around most days. So, I started taking a 1/2 a grain of rice worth of Indica THC only based cannabis oil sublingually just before bed every night. The sleep was incredible and I woke up refreshed. What was even more exciting and totally unexpected, the cataplexy stopped in about two weeks after starting the oil. The cataplexy had been a daily occurrence for me for the previous twenty-eight years. Couldn't believe it, so I stopped taking the oil... and the cataplexy was back in four days. I've been taking it every night since. The reason that I'm posting this article is because I get asked a lot if CBD (Cannabidiol) would help with sleep and I always say that it can be stimulating so be careful. I have recommended it if your insomnia or inability to sleep is caused by pain or anxiety or stress because it definitely makes everything easier to cope with. This is assuming that you have normal sleep patterns if the stress, pain or anxiety are removed from the equation. Anyway, enjoy the article. I did and I like using products that have no side effects and are natural. Whatever works for you. https://www.leafly.com/news/strains-products/how-to-use-cbd-marijuana-for-sleep?utm_source=SailThru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=buy_pickup&utm_term=global&utm_content=pickup
  10. This is absolutely the BEST primer on CBD that I've read... https://healthyhempoil.com/buy-cannabidiol-guide/?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=💕++FIRSTNAME++This+is+Why+CBD+++Your+Brain+Can+Be+BFFS💕&utm_campaign=VIV-Sep+EDU+1-V1 If you're interested in CBD for your pet, scroll down the article. And a reminder (from me) to NEVER give THC to critters!!! How CBD works... https://healthyhempoil.com/cbd-for-mood/?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=💕++FIRSTNAME++This+is+Why+CBD+++Your+Brain+Can+Be+BFFS💕&utm_campaign=VIV-Sep+EDU+1-V1
  11. Healthy Hemp Oil is the name of the company. The following is a good starter guide to CBD. https://healthyhempoil.com/buy-cannabidiol-guide/?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=💕++FIRSTNAME++This+is+Why+CBD+++Your+Brain+Can+Be+BFFS💕&utm_campaign=VIV-Sep+EDU+1-V1 And, to answer Rony's question... CBD oil is usually made from HEMP and does not contain THC. Many, many people confuse CBD oil with oil made from Marijuana. There are very few strains of Marijuana that contain CBD (which stands for the cannabinoid CANNABIDIOL). Charlotte's Web is one strain of Marijuana which does contain a lot of CBD. Google is your friend.
