Man I feel for anyone trying to buy a video card. The coin miners buy up everything and made finding one hard and if you do they are super overpriced. My laptop is like your your desktop made on 2010 great Alienware but just to old to do much serious gaming. But waiting for the steam deck to hit mexico to replace it. Switched my steam to mexico so will have to wait for mexico launch.

What is this all about. New to the area.

I use nord vpn, and a dns changer ( I know how to change manually but wife does not). Both have a nice GUI easy to change to anywhere. Now I use a NUC computer attached to my TV so I have access to change anything I want easily. We I use Hulu live TV. Works great with the dns, vpn and the new unlimited cloud dvr makes it as nice as Google TV was. We also open up accounts with, acorn, britbox, some others when we see something we like. Prime TV thru amazon.com.mx much cheaper than usa version, don't need vpn,dns for this. Now to access the movies we own on usa amazon we need dns,vpn. Also have a BBC account so we can change dns, vpn to Britain and watch shows we like. It is a great time to be a xpat tech wise. Also the NUC are now being made by off brands just bought a new one for $250 off Amazon ready to go out of the box windows and all, 2 4k outs too. So they really are pretty cheap and you get much more control of your TV watching.

Me too but we live in mexico where it is fully stocked. Unlike USA where the plant that makes 40% after proving the baby deaths were not from there formula told the white house in Feb if they were not able to open the plant there would be a shortage in months.... the white house and fda said no your closed. Now we have a problem made by the fda and the white house for no reason other than stupidity or plain hate for those Americans.

I can say that if your not retired but have va access because of a disability you can apply thru the va to get covered for anything you are disabled for they the lakeside medical. And I checked with the va it is all legal thru the disabled overseas vet program. Have to fill out some forms and then wait for the paperwork about 4 weeks. Then you are covered here for anything you get disability pay for.

The British article said it is only transmitted thru sex so easy to avoid.

Had telmex totalplay and ilox. Best was totalplay, telmex second and ilox I was paying for 200 down (all a couple needs) and was lucky to get 30 down. Talked to them about it they said network congestion. Have not had 1 problem with totalplay.

Got to be it. Every time the wind blows this happens. Will be working on a fix for the house. Did all the math and a ups for refrigerator, water pump/uv light, starlink, tv/nuc, would keep me up for min of 11 hour before needing to recharge and a small gen would take care of that in less then a hour. Just have to get everything ordered and set up and I won't really care so much about an outage.

Well just past midnight west side of ajijic is down but just a small area. Main road is still lit up but neighbors around me are down.

Well update. I needed north facing with straight up and west to east lucky that was easy. 250+ down and 20+ up constantly. Been using it to watch hulu live, BBC iPlayer and the like no problems at all. Love it.

Well my starlink told me power came up at 11.15am so just after we left on our bikes.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one worried about this. Getting ups for my fridge, starlink, waterpump and uv lights, than of course for my tv and computer. Will then buy a generator and run it only to recharge the ups and then turn it off. With a good ups should be 6 to 8 hours between runs of about 1.5 hours to recharge. That is why I am looking at a wall battery unit for the house would make all of that not needed.

Well with the power issues in the area I am not sure how people think ac units are a good idea. If everyone turned on the ac during the day do you think the grid here can handle it? I have solar on top of my house but I am looking at putting a wall battery system in and leaving the grid. Never use but 65% of what I produce and will never have a outage again.
