  1. Yeah it has Jalisco plates, so I thought it was weird. So I have the factura with my name on it, and my INE and a comprabate, y'all think I can go in person and get it done?
  2. Yeah they were helping me with it, but then I got freaked out because they asked for the car, the factura, the keys and my ID, they said they needed to take it all for a few days. Is that normal?
  3. Yeah I bought it from a used car agency, they gave me the new factura with my name on it. And they said that would be enough. Hmmmm
  4. Hi! I live in GDL and I was wondering if anyone knew how I can register a used car I purchased. I looked online and I keep seeing conflicting information. Any suggestions?
  5. I'm in search of fresh or frozen whole cranberries for my Thanksgiving dinner. Any leads?
  6. Does anyone know where I can buy cranberries for Thanksgiving? Looking for whole fresh or frozen. Thanks!
  7. Hey! My husband and I are looking for a private doctor in the downtown area of guadalajara. Any recommendations?
  8. If you have a week to spare, we use an online service called OFX. They have the best rates and we transfer from US bank to MX bank. So obviously you need a Mexican bank account. But it's very easy to use and you can transfer up to $50k at a time. We transfer my husband's US paycheck every month. No need to deal with cash.
  9. Awesome. One question, when it comes to providing my husband's birth certificate, how recent must the copy be? I know that when I applied for my INE they gave me a hard time because my copy was 6 months old. We would have to have his mailed from Virginia and I want to make sure it meets the dates requirements. Thanks
  10. Hi! My husband and I recently moved to Guadalajara from Los Angeles, CA. We bought a house here in 2018 and came in March for a week long vacation. At the end of our trip the quarantine began and we decided to stay. That was over six months ago! A little background: I am a dual citizen of mexican decent. My husband is US born and we married in LA five years ago. Also, we are both men. Currently I am retired and my husband works remotely for a large university in LA. Does anyone have any experience dealing with visas and gay marriage in Mexico? Since my husband has overstayed his visa, how does he go about applying for a new one? And also, is it easier to get re married in Mexico or try to get our American marriage recognized here? Any help would be appreciated!
