There's a good win-win opportunity here for "personal shoppers"......hand 'em your list at the door, go have a beverage in the shade or run other errands, and give a decent amount to cover the service when you get your stuff. Or....do it remotely and have delivery right to your home.....solves the "issue" while creating needed work for some. The municipal and the store could easily put this in place and find people to staff it......

And that's why Canada will both test, and quarantine YOU (and everyone) on arrival. And...you pay for it, mucho mucho. 🙂

People have been having to get a test before flying to Canada, for the past several weeks. So that req't is already known.

China implements anal swab Covid test
virgo lady replied to CHILLIN's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Can't wait to see how it "ends"......of course, every sample needs to be anal-yzed by the anal-ysis lab..... 🙂 -
Exactly right, and the term "herd immunity" has been incorrectly used / abused since the start of this thing. People at first in some places wanted the virus to spread, to have "herd immunity"; small issue of killing 1 out of 50 that way or more, plus all the other long term health issues and system overloading = disaster scenario. Good and safe vaccines to all, are the only way to achieve broad protection in the population which is why existing practices of distancing and masking will likely be in place most of this year, minimum, and beyond, in many parts of the world.

Covid is absolutely a severe crisis. What's hilarious is that in your mind, your inconvenience about not being personally served during it, is a bigger one.

Flip this around......Do you think the USA, would, or should, allow all other countries whose citizens are living in the USA, to enter and / or send vaccines into the USA, for the purpose of vaccinating their citizens who happen to be in the US? When those people, as US residents, already have access to the USA vaccinations? Not to mention the logistics in the ultra cold needs of the 1st ones out, there is just no need for this and as others have said, unless there is some severe crisis, it just ain't going to happen. Anywhere.

Always going to be some hostile reactions.....however most in FL understand that winter tourism / seasonal residents are a big chunk of their economy. And vaccinated people are both freer and safer to have running around spending $$........not to mention not taking up hospital beds. On balance, one of the few things the FL governor has done that I can agree with.

Why don't you send a follow up note and ask them? That should get you on their radar for SOME kind of "jab". 🙂
-
The Canadians in Florida and Mexico don't expect their government to chase them down wherever they are for a jab.
-
Likely best and easiest for people everywhere to get the shots locally. Canadian snowbirds in Florida are being vaccinated same as the "locals", which is best for all, they represent relatively small #'s, especially this year, and yet it protects everyone in the local area better that way (stop the spread) while removing stress and strain from local health resources should someone get sick if they didn't have it.

Highly recommend Go Solar here on this board. STI Solar Technology is a very well respected company with many years at lakeside and has top quality systems at excellent pricing with 1st class installation and support. There are many board users who have mentioned the same over a number of years. ron(at)solartechnology.com.mx

At the used 6V battery store. -
You don't give any facts, you just give negative reactions and say your advisors are experts. That isn't helpful to anyone.

No they aren't misleading, and No, you don't have to comment. Just. Stop.

Facebook is the last place I think of for accurate info of any type. Full of opinions, out of date and false info.

Rather than argue and complain about the info people post as they try to help you, stop wasting other people's time and the space on this board with your near-trolling behaviour since you apparently have this all figured out.
