Folks, be aware WHO is revising the number of cycle counts for PCR tests.

IOW, false positives were generated all the past year because the higher the cycle counts, the more likely the PCR test picked up on the remotest strand of the virus, i.e. not a contagious person dangerous to anyone, even her or himself.

Whether the implementation of fewer cycle counts for PCR testing is implemented here or other countries remains to be seen but it is a current issue as of 48 to 72 hours ago.

Then again, deaths persist, and cases of sickness mount; nevertheless, how disturbing that the regimen of testing once again comes under dramatic change from the world's science and health experts.

One might think almost a year is enough to get the testing regimen correct and accurate, but maybe the challenges are too great. All this does is throw more confusion at the standards of how the world will try to keep safe, and keep operating economies.

Bad enough that service levels are spotty and costs of testing are high, but to have the testing itself now be questioned -- what a pain, what a waste of time is what comes to mind about pcr testing, unless one is really really down with symptoms and danger is presenting.

This will kill tourism to Mexico. Nobody will travel here knowing they will have to take such an unreliable test before being allowed to fly home. The possibility of getting stranded in a foreign country for 2-3 weeks, traversing it all in a foreign language, the costs, etc. is a game changer. WHO politicized this from the get go.

  2. Some expect (and I am one of them) that the US will continue to print worthless paper money (the only thing that give the currency value is the military) until it collapses and a gold standard will take over. The monopoly money will be used to build up the US infrastructure in the meantime. Interesting theory.

  3. My family and many of my friends started prepping for something like this the first day that Obama took office. Being self reliant is very comforting. However, in all of our discussions and planning, we were not prepared for biological warfare. Firepower is pretty much useless until pandemonium erupts in the streets. In the US, the Mormons run "food pantry" stores for basic supplies and they even give them out freely to the poor. It is part of their belief system to be prepared, remember, they also have the seed storage place. We are not Mormon, but they are open to all. The political posturing is just beginning and it is pretty obvious that Gates and Soros are connected to the Wuhan Lab, and Obamao donated money to the lab. I hope we get to the bottom of this catastrophe, but I'm still waiting to find out what happened in Las Vegas, and Epstein, and Hillary's laptop that supposedly ties her to satanic pedophilia. If the food chain breaks down, it will get really bad. The current data of infections and deaths show that we drank the Koolaide. However, every third world dictator now has a virus lab and of course they preserved their own personal specimen of the new Covid-19. Round two? Who knows. Round two of the Spanish Flu was the worst round. In any event, destruction of the economy will cause more damage than the virus. The world changed overnight and I'm afraid that this Chinese virus is the brainchild of the New World Order. If that is the case, expect major civil unrest.

As far as I am aware the Oxxos and 711's are still selling.  I don't know for how much longer though.  Nor do I comprehend the reason why they would stop selling it.  Have the Jehova Witnesses finally taken over or something?

Jehovah's Witnesses drink alcohol. Not to excess, but it is not forbidden.

  5. We have all been duped and we drank the Koolaide. Here are the current US numbers.    Early March > Imperial College of London Covid-19 Response Team estimates 2.2 million covid deaths in the USA.
4/10/20 CDC > Deaths involving or related to Covid 19 and Pneumonia = 16,676.  Reports are, that even these low numbers are inflated because many deaths are being reported as Covid deaths that shouldn't be. The economy was destroyed by this biological attack. Now, ask yourself, who had the most to gain from this, and who had the motive?

  6. Included in the US relief package was the legalization of "digital currency" . France is playing with the idea and Australia appears to be ready to go. The US petro dollar appears to be doomed due to inflation, and more "relief" packages coming down the pike, oil prices so low, national debt, etc. I am extremely concerned that the dollars I have in the bank will soon be worthless and I would rather own a home Lakeside than have dollars in the US banking system. One of the arguments is "paper money can carry viruses", but I am more afraid of an economic collapse than I am of the Chinese virus. In fact I am considering buying two homes, and sell one with owner financing. Any thought?

For me, it's not so much who did what and when, or whether the reporting was the truth or fiction for convenience, but what the plans and actions are now.

It's not just me, but plenty of Republicans who find the most appalling idea is the U.S. president wanting to open up the country by Easter!  I just don't get it, and it's scary as hell.  I doubt that the majority of Americans over 65 are in favor of dying to boost the economy.

Just as bad is the Mexican denial stance.  We're all in trouble; the leadership is in disarray in many places and yes, those who will suffer the worst are already at the bottom of the economic ladder. I can relate to the artisans since I am one, and the market as well as the selling opportunites have disappeared.  Fortunately, my survival doesn't depend on selling my wares.  If it did, I'd be going hungry.

That is not what he said. Listen to his speech. You are just repeating the same false information as the press.

  8. We have been looking at lakeside property for some time, and now what I would really like to understand is how the private hospitals are handling the Chinese Virus situation. I'm sure housing prices will plummet, but realistically, what retired person can live in an area without proven medical care? Will the private hospitals be able to handle their paid clientele or will they just operate like IMMS hospitals? Incredibly, we closed on our house in Texas last Thursday and the border is closed! Never thought I would need a coyote to get into Mexico! We are all assuming that the US economy will recover, but even if it does, it could take years for Real Estate prices to recover. Those poor souls depending on their 401K investments are watching their savings dwindle daily. A world recession is in the making. I sold my business recently and had to hold two notes. I doubt I will ever get paid. Small businesses are really hurting. I will say this, if there is a complete monetary collapse, I would rather be Lakeside, where food is produced, then in Dallas TX where everything is trucked in.

  9. I think it is usually 4-6 weeks. However, I found a Mexican  immigration lawyer in San Diego who can get them in three weeks, for a fee of course, and you don't have to even be in Mexico! We used his service, because we want to set up insurance, bank account, and start looking at property, but we can't stay in Mex. for 4-6 weeks currently. Waiting for house to sell.
