And how much are YOU paid, happy, to keep defending HSAT when others have had genuinely bad experiences? Unless Zeb is a professional linguist, it's pretty hard to fake two totally separate types of writing styles.

this web board is a tiny bit of the feren pop. here and even less only an itsy bitsy % actually post here but in case you haven't noticed there are more positive posts about HSAT[not just mine] than negative. Any nudnikki cane foil arune wit lawnwidge effen thay gets prone.

I agree based on my own experience there.  I also had someone in the office block my e-mails when I mentioned their advertisement about accepting US insurance is not accurate.  They have no understanding of customer service or handling a complaint in a professional manner.

Aha! so it appears  you are the one that has posted as all the alleged Mexica trolls who are flaming disinformation about HSAT. How much were you paid? rosa barerra indeed.-SNORK!

Zeb described a miserable visit with Dr. V.  Why jump on him for reporting the facts of it?

My now deceased husband and I were patients of Dr. Valenzuela on different occasions. My treatment by him included surgery. I found him insufferably arrogant. And that's exactly the word I've heard used by others to describe him. He may be a skillful surgeon. My experience was acceptable.  But I wish there were other choices at Lakeside for gastro surgeons. Locally he's what we have.

Because you and zeb wrote it so doesn't make it so. I question your veracity as I did zeb's.

Not a realistic comparison. The Riberas hospital stands alone. The San Antonio hospital is virtually a shopping center with two hospitals, a farmacia or three, at least one restaurant, an eye glasses office and the list goes on. It is full most of the time. Lots of shoppers there. Not the same at all. Not even similar.

Only hospital there is HSAT. Quality care is not a hospital. Yes there are a few businesses including a lab there but there sure ain't a lot of shoppers as you suggest.

I had a guy crunch my poor car this Wednesday and it was just the topper to a totally crap month (don't ask)😱. Anyway, I drove the lateral road near Chopo labs where there is a gym and 2 car repair shops. I stopped and got a quote from Roberts, found it fair and had my car in on Thursday. I also decided to get a little paint work done on the back bumper from a minor collision with a fountain (it was the fountain's fault...I know it moved!). The owner (I'm so sorry I forgot his name) called me and said it would be ready this afternoon instead of the original Saturday. I went, was absolutely impressed as hell by the quality work, and drove home a very happy camper! Even with the extra work, it was still less than my deductible would have been if I'd gone that route. I just wanted to give a shout-out to a shop that does quality work at a very fair (ie, no gringo-gouging) price. The owner speaks excellent English and is extremely personable. I drove in on Thursday convinced that the world had painted a huge target on my back and came home today feeling like a sandbag or two had been lifted off of my shoulders. On a more serious note, if you need auto body work, I absolutely recommend this shop.

I would suggest the lab is Best  not Chopo if he is near the gym and car repair.

Here is my experience.  It was not good.  I had colonoscopy there.  I was left in a cold hallway waiting outside the OR.  I told them I was cold.  No one make any attempt to get a blanket.

After the procedure, I was put in bed and neglected. Bed was not cleaned. I asked for help three times.  I was then told them had staff shortage.  Not my problem.  I am paying a high price (for Mexico) for care.  I was also placed on a bed near the emergency entrance so everything was open.  Only bathroom nearby by was one everyone used.

I will never go there again voluntarily.

I also want to comment on Dr. Carlos Garcia.  When my spouse was alive, we got scripts from him for pain.  He made a mistake so that it would not be filled.  That of itself is not good, but can be corrected.   I went to his office to get a new one and he was incredibly rude and kept me waiting while he saw two other patients.  He knew this was an urgent need and could easily excused himself,  just re-written it and given it to me.  He was angry with me when I stopped in before he took yet another patient.  I want to add that I was very calm and polite with him.  I was not angry when I got there, but really, he was aggravated that he got interrupted. This was a prescription for Morphine, so it was urgent.

I can say two more things and I am sure someone will not like it.  This week a friend overhead him say "we need to stick it to the gringos."  Also, another physician told me that Garcia really didn't care about patients, only making plenty of money.

Why do you want to cloud the reputation of an excellent hospital because of your experience with 1[ONE] doctor. Yes I  know he is a financial partner in HSAT

I call BS on the rest of your alleged experience base on my wife's,several friends and my experience at HSAT

Here is my experience with the Gastroenterologist, Valenzuela at Quality Care.  It was my first visit and I was in some pain.

When I got into his office, I realized I had forgotten my water in the car, so I asked him if had some water.  Here is the conversation below:

    1. Do you have water?

    Him:  no

Me:  No water in the entire office?

    Him: No.

    What about in the lobby?

    Him: Yes

Me: Could you please mind get me some?

    Him: No

    Me:  Why?

Him: Because I am in here with you in a consultation.

So, instead him simply asking his staff to bring me some water, I got up and asked the staff myself and they did bring it into his office for me.  If I had not been in pain and in need of some quick help, I would have walked out.

For this type of treatment, I paid a ridiculous 1,000 pesos, which way more money than is reasonable for being in Mexico.

Hector V is a surgeon not a gastro..That would be Daniel Briseno at QC.  Hector V successfully did my 2 sports hernias and removed my gall bladder. He AND Daniel B  are polite and caring with their patients  I highly question your veracity.

  8. So the Generac tech came yesterday to inspect the work and set it to test and and then ready it for use remotely, and everything passed as correct. it will kick in for 3 minutes every Sat. am to charge the battery which runs the cooling fan and yes the generator is noisy running, if you're sitting near it but not so much upstairs says esposa. They are water proof so you can have it installed anywhere. I played sidewalk superintendent during the whole installation and was highly impressed with the crews work. This is not my first rodeo when it comes to observing and even consulting with some high tech clients in pneumatics and hydraulics  in a past life. Not every tom, dick or harry can do a job like this and there is a reason that Generac is the unit of choice in Canada and the US.

    Adrian is the expert supreme!!!!!!

We can as you suggest manage ourselves….it’s our GP in Florida that wants it spelled out and due to catch 22 scheduling difficulties….we would like to take an accurate translated set of bloodwork’test results with us

Get  GP here.Probably cheaper than getting a translate fer yer uppity doc in florida If yer NOB  doc can't read lab tests from here he needs to go back to school and start over. I can easily read my tests and get the results the same time as my GP so that we can discuss.

WOW! a whole 2.8% more...What will I do with this windfall?

    FYI:

Canada's annual inflation rate hit 8.1% in June, up from 7.7% in May, driven by higher costs at the gas pump and almost everywhere else, Statistics Canada said, but short of forecasts it would accelerate to 8.4%.Jul 20, 2022

What do you consider the NON Gringo price per hour?

I pay by job not per hour and the non gringo price is so low that it's shocking sometimes to the point where i give them more if I consider that it's waaaay too low base on not just hours spent but the also the expertise required and sometimes danger involved.

Duh, so why would you want to have a tree that provides food that they can thrive on?

DUH, after all  this time that you have been here, why do you think they rely on one plant and not everything around you. They don't THRIVE on it, in any event. IN  case you haven't noticed the last several years every place in Mexico is overrun with those tiny little ants. And most likely a person like you would provide more food for ants and cockroaches than a tree or any other plant for that matter. what is the purpose of yer negative passive/aggressive  post which is not related in any way shape or form to what senor maincoons has asked about. Clear out your garden and house of all things and make your living space sterile as in a safe bubble and shower every 10 minutes so that your dead skin doesn't attract all sorts of vermin-SNORK!

  13. Experience beats googling every time. This is what the pods turn into if you let them into the[non commercial] fruit stage. my trees are 15 ft[16 years old] measured against my 12 ft wall and have stopped growing in height but the new branches are spreading creating more shade. New branches if they start in the hot season can have a bit of their leaves sunburned.
