Anyone have recommendations for a driver from Laredo to Ajijic? To transport two people and two cats in the driver’s vehicle?

We are visiting next week. I am wondering if it is safe to eat the food in area restaurants and drink area water. Also, is ice cream safe? We would hate to get sick on our trip. Thanks for the info
