I guess you are still waiting for an answer to your question? “examplesof the cost of major surgery.  Eg. Knee replacement, heart procedures, cancer etc.”

I had 2 surgeries in Mexico. I had a cervical disc replacement at San Francisco de Asis hospital in Guadalajara. It was done through a local clinic in San Antonio that billed my U.S. insurance company $45,000 USD. The procedure was successful and I did not pay anything out of pocket, however, my insurance company issued a fraud investigation due to over billing. I discovered that the procedure actually cost $15,000 usd and the clinic pocketed $30,000 usd. I no longer have any dealings with the clinic or the doctor that runs it.

I also had gastric bypass surgery at Hospital Country 2000. I paid $6,500 USD out of pocket. No insurance.

That’s all I have. I hope it helps.

    Gracias

Under the fridge and stove and storage cupboards seems the best place to try that.I don't have oatmeal or boric acid. Where can you buy boric acid? I guess ceral or rice could replace the oatmeal.

A piece of bread soaked in beer in the centre of a flat dish or foil.  Sprinkle boric acid around the edge of plate.  Presentation is the key.

Federal information   Generally, one liter of alcohol per person may be entered into United States duty-free by travelers who are 21 years or older. Additional quantities may be entered but will be subject to duty and Federal Excise taxes, which will be assessed and collected at the Port of Entry. There is no federal limit on the amount of alcohol a traveler may import into the United States for personal use, however, large quantities might raise the suspicion that the importation is for commercial purposes, and an U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer could require that you comply with the requirements under the Federal Alcohol Administration Act (FAA  Act)

Arizona information: The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control (DLLC) regulates liquor production, storage, transport, sale, service and consumption in Arizona. Personal collections of liquor for private (non-commercial) use are not regulated by this agency or Title 4 (Arizona liquor law) unless unlawful acts are associated with private use. Unlawful actions may include, but are not limited to, underage drinking, dealing in liquor (commercial purposes or profit) without a license, etc.

Texas charged us state tax on all liquor.  Even tiny 2 oz bottles.

Have you ever experienced the sight of a tropical storm coming in from the open ocean? If not, you are in for a treat, a scary treat. Shades of purple you could never imagine.

Even more interesting when at sea in a 43ft sloop.  We kept a constant eye on the wx & seldom got caught.
