Does anyone lakeside setup streaming DirectTV Now? With our older Shaw satellite equipment we were only able to get sd channels. Now quite a few of them are gone and, by the sounds of it, we'll lose a bunch more in a couple of weeks. Because nobody knows when Shaw will stop sending their signal this way, we don't want to gamble on spending more money on upgrades.

I apologize for changing the original topic, but I'm actually interested in having a spare modem kicking around. If we can't buy directly from Telmex, then would a modem work out of the box like the one listed below on Mercadolibre without having to do the 192.168-type setup. I'm not familiar with setting up a modem from scratch.

Probably a dumb question, but can you actually go into a Telmex office and buy one of these? My older modem/router has to be reset or restarted a few times a day now.
