Actually all jokes aside I watch the procession every time. You first have the native dancers then the Spanish soldiers followed by several military bands and other folkloric dancers then Virgin motorcade that is very similar to the pope's mobile and just behind is the padre and the mayor. I highly recommend it.

For those searching for a reliable refrigerator repair person, I was more than pleased with the many recommendations of Real Refrigeration. I WhatsApp'd them last night and Gualberto (the father - Spanish only) replied and sent his English speaking son over at 11.AM.
He was quick and very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate in using them again! Sorry that the below card is so big......
Yes they are great. Went to their shop this morning at 9 am because my Whirpool fridge stopped working. They told me that they would come by between 10 and 10:30. I was blown away when they showed up on time and had my fridge working within 30 minutes (burned out relay).

My Mx flag is coming to pieces. Where can I buy a flag now about 12x16 inches. Not sure about the measurement but approximately.
Mercado Libre has a large selection of sizes and the prices seem to be under 200 pesos.

The hotel I stayed at is called Carlo De Gante. They say pets are ok up to 22 pounds. I called them since my Golden weights 80 plus pounds and they said it was ok.

Just got back from a 9 day stay in Mazamitla (obviously returned a little to early). The weather was great and it started to rain every evening as of last Friday. On Saturday there was a huge hail storm. On a side note, my hotel room for me and my golden retriever was 350 pesos a night (the listed price was 650 pesos) and the hotel was only 2 blocks from the plaza. So yes, that is where I will be in June of 2024 😊

My long hair golden retriever will "talk to you" if you are wrong. 😊

I have a PIN for my BBVA debit card. In addition, if I want to purchase something on line I need to generate an electronic number with the BBVA apps which is only valid for 5 minutes.

Dr Delfino is my Golden Retriever's vet. The next time I am in his office I need to inform him that he may have ignited the start of world war 3 with his weather predictions 😊

My friend in the Raquet Club just told me that the deluge has started to flood part of her house. (Only 1/4 inch in 2 rooms so far) Any other reports? (Likely not yet, if people are too frantically trying to stem the flow.)
I wish your friend luck when the actual rainy season starts.

Well given the current US debt it will be no surprise to see the dollar drop below 16.

And you wonder why people just can not get along....

Wow, I wonder how you could get by on 10,000 pesos a year. I currently sponsor I girl who attends the UDG with 5,000 pesos a month. She also has a part time job.

for the past 2 weeks or so I seem to get a spam message on my phone every day ( of course I never click on the link). Each time, I block the number used but it seems like they have an endless supply of phone numbers, any advice of how to put and end 😬

Now now stop making Ferret look older then she really is 😁

I no longer live in Canada but when my mom needed 2 stents in one of her heart arteries back in 2008 with surgery done in Guadalajara, I had to provide certified translations of all medical receipts in order to get "some" money back.

I would also check the LTH battery store in Riberas pretty much across the street from the old 7/11. I got a new battery there about a year ago and batteries is their business.

Well I can not comment on the best route back to Montreal but I can say that tonight's temperature will be about -5 Celsius. Don't forget to check your cars antifreeze. 😊

The young girl that lives above my apartment with her parents just lost her job at one of the centro laguna businesses. I asked her if she was having any luck finding a new job. She said there is other work but the pay is low. So I asked her how much she was making at her previous job and she said $ 148 pesos. I said that is good, she then said that was per day 😑 (I believe that must be the current minimum wages, incredible..).
