I have belonged to this forum for years without being a Lakeside resident because I have many friends there and find much of the information posted quite useful. So, to ask favor: Attached is a copy of the cover of my Mexico memoir, The Accidental Immigrant, which I would have called something else had I known earlier that someone had already used “my” title. Since it’s difficult to promote an English-language book in a Spanish-speaking country, I hope that some of you will want to read it. You can get an idea of the contents by reading the back cover. Most friends are buying either the paperback or e-book from Amazon (including amazon.com.mx) or Barnes and Noble in the USA. But if you Google my name and book title, you will find it listed by many online outlets all over the world. The price should be $12.95 for the paperback and $2.99 for the e-book (or the equivalent in the currency of the country where you order). TIA

Some people do not have and do not want a smartphone, so that fact in itself is a worthy "excuse."
