On Thursday the 25th of February we had the "Day of the Art" project. This was an event orginized by a student from the International Institute,Daniel Rentería Cárdenas from 12 grade, that took place at the International Institute from 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm. Some of the local artists where invited to this event to expose their art work and to talk to the students about art.
The main objective of this project was to demonstrate to other students that you can find art in everthing and everywhere, and that you can find an artist in everyon of us.What Daniel thinks about art is:I think that every art and the freedom of expression that comes with it, is a very important part of our lives. When you paint, draw, or make a sculpture you become capable of transforming your emotions, thoughts and creativity in something that everyone can see and enjoy.
