Why don't you post your menu and price. It'll give people an idea of the type of food you will be serving and the cost.

One month from now: June 14.

I received a call last night to show up today for my 2nd shot. I got through in an hour once I was in line. Thanks to everyone on this board who posted useful information to make this possible.

YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS! You go back to the mivacuna website, put in your curp and click where it says: Confirm CURP and then click on "Expediente de Vacunacion'. Print this out and take it with you. You have to have it, or they will print it out there for you (takes more time and quality was very poor- probably running out of ink). You also have to have the hand written one to show them you had one vaccine.
They only asked for my Permanente Visa, no other documents other than those mentioned above.
Can you please put in the link for the “mi vacuna” website so I can print out the document? Thanks.

Click the first link. Scroll diwn to where it says drive thru. All is there now at 7pm
Am I correct in thinking that the vaccine shots will be given from Tuesday, May 11 to Friday May 14?

I clicked on these links but saw nothing regarding vaccine shots at the University of Guadalajara in Tlajumulco. There will be shots given in Tlajumulco but not at the University where you drive through.

I discovered them at the Jacaranda restaurant in SMA and would not return without doing it again.
Different strokes for different folks. Chillin, you won't know until you try and taste the zucchini blossoms yourself. Let us know if it was worth the effort.

Never had stuffed squash blossoms, are they worth the bother? Way more blossoms than viable zucchinis.
I've had squash blossoms, filled with cheese, battered and fried at Jaleo's, a tapas restaurant in Washington, D.C., owned by the famed Jose Andreas. I would not spend my time and energy cooking this item. Lots of work without the flavor. Enjoy the zucchini and throw out the blossoms.

After reading these post I went out and bought a tire guage. I had assumed that my tire monitoring system was all I needed.
What type of tire gauge, and where did you buy it?
-
I went to AutoZone and bought a digital tire pressure gauge. I thought I was using it incorrectly but the gauge was faulty. I returned it to AutoZone. They checked it. Indeed it was faulty. I will not be dealing with any more devices.

Depends on whether you have a tire pressure gauge (15 pesos) or not.... and I guess whether you want to test it or have some else that you might feel is more competent.
If the former, there are two things one can do; 1) take the cap off of the suspected tire pressure 'stem' valve; put enough 'spit' on the stem to have it cover the air entrance hole of the valve; watch and see if a leak in the stem is causing the 'spit to form a bubble and then burst'. Try that a couple of times making sure the spit does form a liquid cover of the small entry hole. If it doesn't 'burst' within 5-10 seconds then at least the stem is not leaking. If it burst, air is leaking out of the defective valve stem. Take it to a tire shop, tell them that you suspect that your tire stem valve is defective. They will also test it and replace the valve for a small fee.
If the valve stem is not leaking, 2) take a tire pressure reading every morning about the same time before you drive it anywhere. Actually take it twice each morning to make sure your reading was accurate. Make sure the suspect tire is not 'sitting in the sun' as that heat will change tire pressure. Depending on 'how slow' your leak is it might take a while for a noticeable difference to appear... if it has a leak.
If you want a 'more professional' opinion take it to a tire dealer and they will probably do a water/soap test on the entire tire to see/find any leak that may be present. If they find a leak, due to maybe a nail they may be able to just patch the hole.... if it is not in the sidewall. If you have to buy a new tire, make sure that they can put the same make/model/tread-balance-remaining tire in its place.... having a mismatched tire or one new tire and the rest of the tires older/with much less tread can be problematic.
Good luck.....
Thank you. I'll get a tire pressure gauge. The rest of the stuff is beyond my pay grade. I need a recommendation of where to have my tire checked for leakage.

Got my car back from VW. They reset the dashboard. Did not have to replace anything. I want to have my tires checked. I think I may have a slow leak in one of my tires. Any recommendations? Thanks.

What part of your TPMS failed?
Tire pressure cannot be stored in the system. The car is at the VW facility at the moment. I'll post once they diagnose the problem.
-
Thanks, everyone. Time to send the car to VW in Guadalajara. I'm one of these people who needs the car monitoring system to be told what to do.

The whole system?? Or one of the receivers, or one of the wheel sending units?
Year and make of vehicle?
Maybe a description of the problem/symptoms would help to get a suggestion as to who can help.
It's a Volkswagen Tiguan Track & Fun 2012. The tire pressure in all 4 tires has been checked but the mechanism says that it's unable to store the tire pressure. I will need the workshop to diagnose what needs to be done. I Googled the problem and the answer was that the tire pressure monitoring system needs to be replaced. There is a battery in the unit but as the battery is part of the unit it cannot be replaced separately.

I need my tire pressure monitoring system to be replaced. Is there anyone locally in Ajijic who can do this? Thanks.

For months I have been looking for ordinary sponges but cannot find any at my usual haunts...Walmart, Superlake, or El Torrito. If anybody knows a place at Lakeside that carries them I will be forever your friend . I may even let you in front of me in line for our second vaccine dose
I ordered some from AmazonMx: https://www.amazon.com.mx/s?k=esponja&__mk_es_MX=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=3G3VPR73XOIXO&sprefix=es%2Caps%2C323&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_3_2

Thank you for your suggestions. Yes, it had occurred to me but I was concerned that if I did not get the information regarding the second shot in a timely fashion, I may not be able to find a driver in time.

You can also share the ride and split the cost.
1 hour ago, RickS said:If you find no one, there are plenty of 'drivers' locally that one can call. Maybe 600-1000 pesos but if it gets you your 2nd shot it's worth it IMO.

Artsnob just messaged me to say his van is full, and not able to offer me a ride. Please, if there is anyone else that I could share a ride with, I would be most appreciative. Thanks.

I have sent you a private message with my home phone number, and e-mail address. Your assistance is very much appreciated.

My neighbor drove me to the University of Guadalajara, today, for my first shot. Unfortunately, she's leaving for the U.S. in a week, and expects to remain there for two months. I was hoping to catch a ride with someone who is going in for the second shot when that happens. Will be happy to contribute towards gas. Thanks.

I can understand Mexicans going to the U.S. for Covid vaccines. There is insufficient supply here. But why, oh why are Canadians not returning to their home country to receive these vaccines?
