System in from Pacific over all of Jalisco, it was forecast on Thursday for the entire weekend. Enjoy it while it lasts.

It started thundering and lightning last night about 9:00 rained all nigh and still raining. Just saying.
And yeah, nine years is less than some and more than others. OK?
This was a front from the Pacific, nothing to do with rainy season.

I was not referring to a spot in a lot, but a curb on a street. These have to be applied for by the handicapped person, the neighbors I are asked if OK. The space is then issued to that handicapped person. I believe it has a number and the sticker has the corresponding number. So the person and car is known to the neighbors. Apparently one of the neighbors is using the space and I am told the cops do not check. So my friend would like to report this and does not know how.

A friend asked me how to report abuse of a handicap blue curb parking. I thought maybe Vialidad? Anyone know how to do this?

Anyone having any problems with missing channels lately? I have lost the major networks, ABC, NBC, CBS as well as a few others. I am wondering if it has anything to do with them changing everything to HD. Thanks.

I stopped by my friend in the afternoon, part of the street was dug up. We walked over there and the workmen showed us the water pipe. It is about 4 inches wide but only had a hole around 2 inches for the water to get through. It was full mud, not sand, thick gooey mud. She called me last night to tell me she has water again.

Wouldn't it be best to ask SIMAPA directly?
Not if my laptop is on and this forum is available. Perhaps if I were going out and maybe if it impacted me directly. People ask for info on this board all the time, why is this different?

My friend in SAT told me this morning that there has been no water coming in for 2 days and nights. Does anyone know about this and when she will get it back? Apparently it is not all of SAT which is affected.

Can any one recommend a good and reasonable mattress store. I know there is one in Ajijic in that newish mall. One off Libramiento by Black Coffey and one I believe is in San Antonio/Riberas. If someone has used one of these places, do they remove old one?
thanx
That mall is also in San Antonio, Ajijic starts at La Floresta, past water park.

While living in Ajijic, both of my dogs were diagnosed by echocardiogram and vet exam with heart problems and begun on meds. Zoe’s meds included a diuretic. When I moved to NY last winter, I took both dogs in for re-evaluation. Echoes and exams were completed and read by veterinary cardiologist. There was no sign of heart disease. I questioned could the medications or the change in altitude have made a difference. I was assured by vet and cardiologist that was not the case. My dogs were taken off the medications, but it was too late to save Zoe. She went into kidney failure and died. I had such confidence in my Ajijic vet, Dra Beatrice at Pet Place. I will never recover from the death of my six year old girl. Fortunately, she had not put my Cosette on diuretics, so she is fine. Beware and see ONLY Hector Ladron.
Unfortunately Zoe is not the only patient misdiagnosed by this vet, I have heard of and had personal experience with quite a few. When I took a dog to Hospital Arboledas to the Cardiologist there, I found the medicine given by her to be highly dangerous. In fact, the cardiologist kept asking who prescribed it and stating that it would kill her. I won't take an animal there again. People do because "she is so nice".

100 Pesos per hour in 2023 $7 Cdn $5 US +-
This is neither the US or Canada. Only foreigners are paying the high rents, etc. I know some whose CFE bill is between 32 and 46 pesons. Comparisons with a NOB country is senseless. The maids who live in this area are the highest paid in Mexico.

I believe there is a law forbidding dogs in restaurants unless there is outdoor seating.
The law is no dog where food is prepared, ie kitchen. Allowed in eating areas.

I don’t think a pet will be allowed. It is a closed in grocery store. I have never seen a pet in SuperLake or Walmart.
I have seen them in SL.
