  1. I spent a weekend in Mazamitla a couple of years ago. Our cabin had very, very poor insulation. The owner provided a stack of blankets and even that didn’t keep us from being miserable all night.
  2. I always keep a bucket to fill until the shower runs hot. I then use the bucket of water for the toilet.
  3. I understand that Apple Pay is now available at certain Mexican banks. I, myself, haven’t used it in Mexico but I use it often in the States. I’ve used Xe to transfer funds US to Mexico. They gave me a great rate and charged 2.99 service charge. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204916
  4. You should have read up on how to do a PTCA and buy yourself some stk so you don’t need medical personnel. It’s amazing what you can learn on YouTube.
  5. You’re oversimplifying this situation. Were there EKG confirmation of an MI? There are many other conditions that can mimic an MI. Did you have other health problems that could be aggravated by stk? Bleeding disorder? Ulcers?, etc. Surgical history, etc. you cannot expect an EMT to take your suggestions at that moment unless he’s experienced and able to take the responsibilitiy. even in hospitals stk is given under strict monitoring conditions. theres always doctors that like to play the “wouldav, shouldav” game, but the same thing could have happened in Houston or some outlying area in good old USA
  6. I’m lucky to live near the border. I go down and do all my paper work the night before. I used Lewis & Lewis once right before a holiday. Their offices were closed and I didn’t get my online paperwork until after I had arrived at my destination.
  7. No, they are not. EKG uses electrodes to map heart electrical activity. Echocardiogram uses sound waves to make 3D images of the heart and to measure heart flows.
  8. All you have to do is read: https://www.thirdway.org/report/the-two-decade-red-state-murder-problem
  9. 25 gauge needles are usually used with small subcutaneous doses like insulin. Best to use 22 gauge
  10. You want to start on that slippery slope of squashing freedom of expression.
  11. Again you didn’t mention the grooming and abuse that starts in church and sometimes also in school sports. I’ve never been in a gay bar but I doubt there’s children in there being groomed. many of us start out as fundamentalist Christians and quickly develop an allergy to it.
  12. USA has always been uptight about sex even though it’s being displayed everywhere. here in Mexico it’s not displayed as much but gays are more accepted. if you’ve got a problem with alternate life styles then maybe the problem is in you.
  13. In the old days we tried to outdo our neighbors by getting a nicer car than theirs. Now we get ourselves a more powerful gun than what they’ve got.
  14. Just never, never fall into the trap of starting to feel sorry for yourself.
  15. You have to consider that you have to have a receiving hospital and a particular doctor who will accept you. These are pre existing conditions before you get flown out. It has been pointed out here that these services only make arrangements with available commercial flights. They don’t actually have their own air ambulances.
  16. Exactly what my son did. The unit I got from Megacable is router and modem combined. My son was able to disconnect its router and plug in an Apple Airport router
  17. Per your comments if the exchange rate used to be 250 yen per dollar and it’s now 150 yen per dollar then the yen is strengthening.
  18. I was thinking of using foam pads on the bony areas, keeping lips moist, using eye drops if needed, etc. Dehydration has secondary effects that can be uncomfortable. Doctors and med techs never watch out for these things
