Thank you, I had guessed a broom of some sort - we had Scotch Broom in the Northwest U.S. and I am allergic to it. Although this is a new record for me for allergic reactions.

Yes, worst allergies ever. Cetirizina during the day, Benadryl at night, still coughing and sneezing. What are those yellow plants?

We order from Cocinart and love every bite but, in my mind, there is no such thing as too much butter 😁

I use a service as well, for 3 hours once a week. Yes, it is more money than I paid when I handled the hiring, etc. myself but I don't l want to do that again. The service pays insurance costs, as well as annual bonuses, etc. They also supply all equipment and cleaning products. If the cleaner is not satisfactory, they find a capable replacement. It works for me.

Daisy 2013 "Since thing are so iffy with the virus, not the time to hire a new person Everyone now has so much time on their hands, try cleaning yourselves."
Wow, more unasked for life advice. Not everyone has (1) time on their hands (2) the physical ability to clean house (for any number of reasons, which are personal.) How about you use some of the time on your hands to do a little introspection?

None of us were in need of grabbers or any other type of cane. Your friend will be able to see the same day after each surgery. Why waste money even to rent one?
jillin has spoken - nothing more can be said.

Both humans in our house are suffering from seasonal allergies and so are our three small dogs. We sneeze and have red eyes and they scratch and chew.
Good news that the humans are not scratching and chewing. Yet.

Exactly, Rick, one of our daughters is still in Seattle - a masked walk around Volunteer Park or through the arboretum is free. No need to be bored unless that is your choice.

Sorry, I was responding to Mr. Coons earlier post. I am a Mudgirl fan and would not diss her. Mr. Coons I would, and do, diss.

You're one of the ones here always beating the drums for harsh measures to protect old expats. That's your agenda it seems.
I can't recall previous drum beating but you may be right. Oh, and don't curse at me. I have been cursed at by much better people and, yet, I still believe in what I believe in.

And after 2 weeks CV will still be here. And will it only be two weeks?
You want to see some serious unrest in the Mexican community, just try this. Working people and small businesses have reached the point of desperation and desperate people can get very angry. Hard for all you expats with your pension and SS checks to understand the damage this has already done to our Mexican neighbors and small businesses. Try harder.
Their own numbers show CV is at a very low level and changing slowly in most rural and small towns of Jalisco. This is primarily a disease of city people and care homes everywhere.
(edited to remove factual error, thanks Mostlylost.)
Huh? I am one of the expats mentioned and am acutely aware of the economic hardship this virus has created, as are many of my fellow expats- you know, those unfeeling folks who have ponied up a portion of their SS checks to support one, or two, or three of the feeding programs in the area. Don't patronize me to promote your own agenda, it won't work. Try harder.
