  1. When you say paper, do you include cardboard? From pill boxes up? No pizza boxes I presume.
  2. I tried on May 25th but it was declined. I shared it to Gringos, Friendly Gringos and Chapala Helps. I can try again
  3. Nate and Charlie are both very nice, beautiful, year old neutered vaccinated males. They are fine on a leash, but not otherwise trained. They don't have to stay together. Their owner and her family unfortunately have to move out from their home by mid June. This deadline came suddenly a couple of days ago from the new owner of the house. They have been caretaking this old house for 15 years, so it is not a lease situation. Three dogs (they have the mother also) make finding another place almost impossible. So far they haven't had any luck finding one with a patio, or garden. So we really need to help her find a place for the dogs, either adopters or fosters. They have been put on the shelters' waitlists, and advertised on FB groups. If you could adopt, foster, or had any other ideas, please let me know. TIA

  5. Paid taxes online. Can’t find the website to pay the refrendó. Can you post it please? TIA
  6. Good idea I’ll suggest he do that. Thanks
  7. Does anyone know of a government service or a charity who can help with housing for a wheelchair bound man and his teenage son? His disability pension is tiny but he would be willing to work. His spoken English is fairly good. The son is at Conalep for another year. TIA
  8. Maybe they will be able to accept Canadian Insurances other than Provincial Health Care ie private insurance or veteran's or something. They used to be in Riberas on the lakeside of the carretera.
  9. Never mind, they will not accept patients with Mexican insurance, only US or Canadian. Nice new premises, though.
  10. Lakeside Med has just opened their new office today across from SuperLake beside Bellon Insurance. Can anyone recommend a primary care doctor there?
  11. This is all good information, thank you.
  12. Thank you, especially for the contact information.
  13. Since we sadly lost Polo from LCS, can anyone recommend a local audiologist?
  14. Can anyone give a recommendation for a really really good roof repair contractor? We need one who can provide scaffolding rather than working from ladders. TIA
  15. I was told by a GP who was there that they changed the aloha grouping today to A-L and tomorrow will be M-S, Saturday T-Z. But he assured me that he had asked and that G would be allowed tomorrow.
  16. Thank you all. I went back to IShop this morning for another try, and voila! it worked. Last night, the free fax app I tried (PamFax) didn't work, and then I had Trinidad in mind. Appreciate your help.
  17. IShop Mail were unable to send my fax today. Does anyone know if any of the papelerias have a fax machine, or have found another place to send one? TIA
  18. Thanks, I thought about Ort Mar and there are two other med supply places nearer Ajijic as well that I can check with tomorrow. He isn't large below the waist, but he is heavy with broad shoulders. Too many years sitting in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the waist down.
  19. The wheelchair of a Mexican friend has given up the ghost. He is getting it welded today, but it won't last long. So I am looking for a used or new one to buy. He is quite large so it must be rated for 100-120 Kilos. Nothing fancy, nor electric. If any one has one for sale or experience buying one here, please pm me or call 376-766-2722. TIA
  20. Im surprised, but things are always changing. We didn't actually ask for design.
  21. There is a place in San Antonio by the Scotia Bank called Kitchen and Harmony. They are worth checking out, not fast, but good woodwork, and lots of modern ideas on show.
  22. BBVA Bancomer will do it. It will be necessary to provide a blank cheque or account transfer details to Service Canada.
  23. Harry, please tell us how much the students pay in pesos. Thanks
