  1. You could contact the Chapala RV Park at 33 10 89 22 23 which is 2 kilometers up the mountain from Ixtlahuacan de los Membrllos out in the country. There is water sewer and 30 amp service.
  2. Thank you Michael I will get in touch with him.
  3. Is there a Canadian tax consultant in this area that anyone knows of?
  4. Trying to find a seamstress that does curtains . There was one in San Antonio on Colon that we have used before but does not appear to be there any more. Does anyone know of one?
  5. I thank everyone for the info, our sim cards are 6.4 and we have volte turned on. we did get a message from Telcel that we now have to change the 001 to +1 For what ever reason our phones are now working.
  6. Having read postings on the forum about using the Telcel phone outside of Mexico it seemed like a no problem. Well we crossed the border into Texas and no more phone, we can text. We have the Amigo plan which is 26 days for 150.00 pesos. Do we need a different telcel plan to make this work? or do we need to make settings of some kind on our cell phones. If you have ideas on this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  7. Do yourself a favor and go to see Maria at the papelaria on Ramon Corona just a few doors west of the plaza in San Antonio next door to Marios resturant. Marias husband may be looking after the front but just ask for Maria and he will get her. She speaks English and she will make up all the papers you need and information. It costs a few pesos but well worth it. We had ours done 8 years ago it was 100.00 pesos but I think it would have increased a little by now.
  8. That is the one we are in. Thank you
  9. dichosalocura would you have more info of this place in or near Chapala Haciendas as I like to keep up with rv places as we have rv friends that like to come to this area. It is good to have a choice of where you want to be. We live in our motorhome have been in Roca Azul for 2 years San Antonio for 4 years and now in Chapala rv park almost 3 years. We love it here but not every place is what some one likes so it is a good thing to have a choice of places to be The Chapala RV Park is actually 2 kms from Ixtlahuacan which is 10 min to Chapala. By the way Hi Ron
  10. Check out RV Trailer Park Chapala
  11. There is nothing to obstruct the signal and there is voltage on all lines at the LNB
  12. Thanks johanson I have known time was running out for the Shaw satellites but it was very strange for those 2 channels to switch off like a light turned off. Our channel list still shows the 2 channels and others that we don't get and are supposed to get oh well I guess the demise of Shaw Satellite is on the way. Thanks Out ! but my cables are 1 year old and I have checked with volt meter and they are fine, and by the sounds of things wont be needing them much longer.
  13. The channel 175 is Global Saskatoon Sask. and the 176 channel is CTV Saskatoon Sask. and the dish is a 75E with the XKU LNB.. Not sure what the package is called but it is of limited size, and Shaw says they are on our package and we should be getting them but of course they don't know we are in Mexico. We have always had them until one night last week.
  14. As there have been a few Shaw topics of late I thought I would give it a number. One evening last week we were watching Channel 175 which is ctv Saskatoon then switched to 176 and then it came on as satellite has lost reception, I then tried the bed room tv and when I switched to 176 it came on as as lost satellite signal. I went on Shaw site and did a chat and they said the dish was out of alignment and they would have some one out the next after noon to adjust the dish but sadly had to decline the offer. So I had Ajijic Electronics out to adjust the dish but they could not do any thing as it was with in the range of the satellite. And then said those numbers are no longer available here. So my question is are there other people here on Shaw on the western feed do you or not get these channels. I know most everyone here is on the eastern feed.
  15. Just out of interest in this topic I was a coin machine operator for some 30 years . Out of some 400 units on the road we operated some 70 juke boxes which were in the area of 50 s 60 s 70 s 80 s and were Rock-Olas as they were the best to have on location 200 miles from home.I tried Seeburgs and Wurlitzer but they were high maintenance and not to have to far to go to service. The Rock olas will endure many miles of travel with out a problem . If you need some assistance with problems I may be able to help.
