One day at Gossip’s I overheard another diner whisper to her friend, “that’s the most famous dog in Ajijic”. We got a chuckle from that.

I think adding the extra for Humana was $76 each per month. We picked a mid grade plan. There were some for less and others more. It includes drug coverage too. FYI you need a US address.

What? We have Medicare and a supplemental, Humana, and an ER visit is $90. Never more and my spouse has been admitted (including the ICU) several times. We have never had to pay anything like thousands. But I agree the US medical system sucks.

Our problem has been that the customs window wasn’t open and had a long line. We waited two hours for customs and the at the AA window an hour before the flight. Everyone was in the same boat. The Mexican customs staff are unprofessional jerks.
