  1. Dear Guests, The biggest night in Hollywood: “Oui Oui” is broadcasting live (ABC feed in English) the 91st Academy Awards on our large screen. Our very special Menus will feature Chef Daniel’s take on Movies nominated for Best Pictures including Roma and Bohemian Rhapsody. There will also be a menu based on Wolfgang Puck’s "Governor’s Ball Gala Dinner". “Oui-Oui” is rolling out the Red Carpet and you are invited to dress up like an A-lister for Hollywood’s glitziest night of the year. So get ready to make your entrance, the Paparazzi have already lined up since it’s the next best thing to being in the Dolby Theater at Hollywood. For all the Glamour and Excitement, it’s only at "Oui-Oui”. Due to the creative process and work involved, the menus (just like the famous envelop) will remain a secret until the last minute. If you have not yet been a guest at "Oui-Oui", we invite you to have a look at past menu such as our 9 course NYE Great Gatsby Extravaganza, on our face book page (leclub4) or on our website (www.LeClub4.com) to get an idea. Better yet visit us Thursday through Sunday to get an better idea. Menu prices are commensurate with the experience (and the ingredients used) and are in the 600p-900p range.
  2. "Oui-Oui" is not limited by space as we have several dining areas including al fresco, two covered areas and a cozy indoor dinning room. For our guests who only come on to the lake on the week-end, we have the menus extended to Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday. So you do not miss out. Merci
  3. For those who are asking: We tend to stick to the old French tradition that when you create a special menu, you make it well . . . special, using the best and freshest ingredients possible. Our chef goes weekly to Guadalajara, looking exactly for those. Our suppliers just told us, well asparagus are at their best right now, so are strawberries and mandarins. So expect our menu to explore and use these ingredients in creative ways. While admittedly it would be quite convenient, we just cannot make a menu of fresh ingredients five or six weeks ahead of time. We just finished tasting: our Saint Valentine’s day menu is getting his final touch, and Asparagus Mousse and Mandarin sauce are being incorporated to the menu which will be ready in a couple of days . . . In French we say: Paris was not made in one day. Be patient and you will be rewarded.
  4. Note: The large HDTV is used during day time. The large HD Screen is used after dusk (visibility). Thank you.
  5. Valentines Day Can’t take her to Paris for Valentines Day? Take her to Oui-Oui instead (that's the next best thing). Chef Daniel is concocting several great menus for Valentine’s Day, and we think it's so good, we will keep the celebration (and the menus) going for the entire weekend. But, don't just take our word for it and come and taste for yourself. On the entertainment side, our own Black Swan with Diamonds will be on hand to play some very romantic music on Valentine Day and the entire weekend. The Food, the Cocktails & Wines and the Music, that will surely put you in the mood . . . . just like in Paris, with Love. Merci et à très bientôt.
  6. In European French speaking countries (Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland), La Chandeleur (Candeleria in Spanish, Candlemas in English) is celebrated by making Crêpes and lot’s of them. If you like the thin, lace like texture and flavor of this French favorite but never tried a full Crêpe meal this is your opportunity: La Vie en Rose (Ajijic Centro location) will lit up candles and serve a special complete 3 course (savory & sweet) Crêpe meal for the occasion, all day this Saturday February 2 (starting at 249p and yes we have both Gluten Free & Low Carb version). La Vie en Rose (Ajijic Centro location) serves Crêpes every day for breakfast, lunch and throughout the afternoon. But on La Chandeleur, we make it extra special.

  10. Happy 2019 to everyone. Bonne Annee. Since the grilling season is still in far off in the future, we decided to bring you some of these summer flavors right now in January. From January 12 and until the 27, "Oui Oui" is celebrating both Grilled & Smoked Meats & Chef Daniel is making from La Cote de Boeuf (aka Cowboy Steaks) to Texas Style Ribs. Our Grill and Smoker (both from Texas) have been up and running for a week now, the first red hot, and the second one low and slow. We also feature French Hamburgers! What's that you say, well you are going to have to come and try for & yourself. For Wine Lovers we have expanded our wine list (over 60 labels and counting) with wines from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa & Uruguay. Oui-Oui opened an indoor dining room with a wood fired Chimney for the holydays season (just in time for when the mercury drops a little at night) and we also have an outdoor gas fireplace. If meat is not your thing, Oui-Oui is also celebrating Flemmenkush week (aka Tarte Flambee), and several versions of this French Pizza are available including a “Forest” vegetarian one (Oui-Oui’s regular menus is available with Salmon, Fondue, etc ...). On the entertainment side, Black Swan with Diamonds is celebrating Sade, Bowie & Rod Stewart’s Birthdays this month, so they will perform your favorite songs from these great artists alongside their usual repertoire. Shows start after 7:30pm on Fridays & Saturdays.
  11. Oui-Oui has several outdoors areas including a large covered patio: Two sides of that patio are enclosed (preventing crosswinds) & there is a gas chimney in the center. The temperature difference is about 5o F with the uncovered area (around 10 pm when temps drop the most). We are keeping a close eye on the forecast and are currently working on alternative to increase the temperature. Finally, a indoor room with a wood burning chimney is being finished and should be available starting X-Mas Eve. Thanks

  14. There are a couple of issues with the website (including an SSL issue), which we are working to resolve. Right now however, our focus is to serve and accommodate the seating and dining preferences of all our guests that have already made reservations for the Holidays. 16. For your NYE, Chef Daniel (CDMX) – Oui Oui’s new Chef - has concocted a sophisticated (Great Gatsby & Roaring 20’s), extravagant 9 course Menu. Let us just say that in the short time Chef Daniel has been at Oui Oui, we've never, ever seen so many guests wanting to meet a Chef. Really. Entertainment . . . Well after 3 years of Grand Bay (Barra Navidad) NYE performances, Black Swan with Diamonds is finally back in Ajijic for NYE: they will perform songs from that golden era along with their unique blend of sophisticated Latin, Euro, & N. American (all appropriate for your refined dining experience). BSWD will first take you back to that golden era, then will gently put you back on your feet when it is time to dance the night away before (and after) the ringing of the New Year. As special entertainment, Oui-Oui will also feature the exquisite Danseuse, Aisha, for a remarkable “Spectacle de Dance” executed with grace and elegance. Finally, while “Oui-Oui” is quite large, space availability is not as it was at the previous location - YET (we are working on it). So, do not delay, as unfortunately this year we will most likely will not be able to accommodate all last minute reservations. We recommend that you acquire your tickets early, as they will go up in price (see flyer below). As always, thank you for your patronage, as it would not be possible without you, our Guests. Oui Oui Team

  19. Since we opened the Ajijic centro location of “La Vie en Rose”, we have had quite a lot of requests for Gluten Free and/or Low Carb products. We’ve imported the GF and LC flours recommended by several guests and Chef Frederic is currently testing different recipes. Based on the quality of the results, we hope to have a selection of GF and LC Crepes, Waffles and Baked Goods including Bread, sometimes next month. Thank you.
  20. Thank you computerdude, you made us laugh so, so hard.
  21. Kookielendmeyou. You are entirely right, thank you for your constructive criticism. It is quite helpful: as long as one gets to think, learn and improve, it’s all good. The entire team is passionate about what we do and all we want is to meet our guest’s expectations and to offer a great experience for all. If we do something wrong, which does happen, we have and will always try to fix it, with the very best of intentions. Again, you asked the right question: Why get all riled up about a deceitful post? I guess because it’s all about Honesty and Integrity. We MUST have both, or we have no business to speak of, restaurant or otherwise. For that reason, I disagree with you about being slander. But I will head your wise advice and let it go. I guess it will be a first step towards being gracious when confronted with it. Thank you for taking the time to write something inspiring and of real value. BTW, sorry about any confusions, but it was cleared up on several previous posts. Have a pleasant day.
  22. Could not agree more, and this is not the way this place was introduced: we talk French Bread, Pastries, Macarons and Chocolate. Stop by, have a look at the garden (it's an ongoing thing), try something if you so desire, and make your own opinion.
