Why didn't you just go to one of the many municipalities comprising the greater Guadalajara area and get one? They were happy to give one to anyone over 60. Soon they will be happy to give one to anyone over 50.
You assume a lot. First of all, it is none of your business whether I personally got a shot or why I did/could not go if I did not. I was not talking about myself. Some of us know/care about people whose lives are different from their own. We like to remind people that what may seem easy/affordable to them may not be possible for others. Stop being so nosy and judgmental.

Stop depending on anything to do with vaccine and the mexican government. Give up and fly to TJ and walk across the bridge to USA. Sign up for vaccine at drug store before you go. Get your J&J shot and come home. Yes I know this won't help the disabled but it will help many of us. I have no faith I will ever be called nor should you. AMLO has botched the whole thing and will continue to do so. My wife got her shots in Mexico City and she reports nothing but praise. She got appointment and never spent more than two hours for whole process. Not only that but they supplied entertainment. Our son lives in M.C. so it was legal for her to get shots in M.C. AMLO and Alfaro don't get along and this has altered the process for us.
It also doesn’t help those who can not afford to “just” fly to TJ and walk across the bridge.

So, if we should "Never open an email attachment", does this mean we should all go back to Snail Mail???
You missed the part that said “... unless you check with them first.” You have to verify it is an email from the person it appears to be from. Yes, a PITA but that’s modern life.

You are so right. I just do not know my way around Chapala and I find it easier to get someone whom I respect to take me there and to ensure that I have everything done correctly.
No need to explain or apologize for how you choose to get things done. It is no one else’s business.

Proof of your nationality - i.e Passport (if you have more than one use only the one that you use most frequently.)
Are you sure? My understanding is that you do not need your passport, just your visa. No one I know who got a shot needed to show a passport.

Well that's a little better... But how are people who don't KNOW that couple to know how to reach them?
I am hoping there is other info on the tag the poster did not include. Surely they don’t expect people to pick up their dog, take it home to keep it safe, and then begin to search for a way to contact them.

Proof of citizenship. Proof of age. Proof of Mexican residency status (inclusive of simply tourist visa if no CURP available ). Proof of first vaccine dose obtained from the same location.
Proof of citizenship? Of Mexico?

Neither. It appears to me the WHO has been seriously compromised by the CCP.
Still, they are a tiny bit more reliable than anonymous old geezers on local web boards.

It is not my personal opinion but labratory and real results.
Sorry. Your claims are unproven no matter what you believe.

Well People were reporting hearing cicadas AKA rainbirds 3 weeks ago. Last night and today ... rain not much but rain in San Antonio. I have just seen lightning in clouds while looking towards Tuexcueca and hearing thunder at 2:15pm
It does nothing to change the fact that since I moved here 13 years ago the legend has been six weeks. This year, suddenly, it has become three weeks. And which people’s hearings set the clock ticking? The ones who heard it three weeks ago or the people who heard it two weeks ago, or yesterday. What about the ones who will first hear it next week or the week after? Whose hearing is official?
Every shower is not the start of the rainy season. -

The test group is getting larger quickly.
And when it is large enough then claims will or will not be proven valid. Until then, your personal experience and opinion changes nothing.

I'm obviously very late to the party but are these improv classes still going? Thanks!
Sadly, the workshop was stopped last year due to Covid. Some members are participating in international classes via Zoom. I have no idea if there are any plans to resume the workshop. Perhaps thevalerieleigh will see these new posts and respond. Or you could send her a PM.

Did you even read the article? It was a report from experts at WHO, not vaccine competitors.
Oh, come on, Mudgirl. Who you going to believe: scientific experts from the World Health Organization or anonymous old geezers spouting off on a local web board about their personal experience? 😆

I have had two Sinovac vaccines. After a bit I had the new antibody test specific to this vaccine. It showed that I had lots of antibodies. Before that people wrote that Sinovac's data was questionable- not enough evidence for the company's claims. Ha! My test results today showed that I had lots of antibodies. I wonder if the same will happen with Sinopharm.
Remember that the vaccine business is very profitable and competitive and people like to run down their competitors without any evidence.
The fact that you had lots of antibodies is great. It does not, however, change the fact that there is “not enough evidence for the company's claims, test groups too small to be scientifically valid, etc.” The company’s claims may be 100% valid and will one day be proved scientifically with studies large enough to provide the necessary data.

I don’t have one but would be happy to contribute to buying a new one if a couple of other people can chip in. About how much does a new one cost?

I could not decide if “Bobby brown” was just really ignorant or a troll, so I played along. I no longer have any doubt. As always, if you give ‘em enough rope .... Not only is BB trolling but is now slipping into a known writing style. Yawn. Been here. Played the game. No longer interested.

trails take years not months
If you bothered to learn the truth instead of repeating talking points you would know that Corona Virus vaccines have been in development by several drug companies for years. Trials were already going on with what they had. They did not start from scratch. They needed only to fine tune the vaccines for CV 19. The Operation Warp Speed did not refer to the development (it was already developed). The speed went into the approval process which usually takes a much longer time. They cut red tape and did processes simultaneously instead of sequentially. The approval was for emergency use granted when the threat of the disease itself is greater than any potential risk of releasing the vaccine.

Pretty smug until you realise you are a mature, well balanced woman, fully bi lingual EMT, and were employed by a well known local Doctor. Of course they are going to rent their choice casita. Next guy who comes along, who just fell off the turnip truck, will get no such opportunity.
🤣 You have me confused with someone else. I can sometimes act mature and fake being well balanced most of the time but speak only toddler Spanish and have no medical background. Well, I once had an EMT as a roommate but was never employed in the medical field either here or in the U.S. I think you are thinking of Trailrunner who no longer posts here.

I am not speaking of “trends.” And, the compounds I speak of are a mix of foreigners and Nationals. They are not “gated communities”either. You made a sweeping generalization about rentals here and you were wrong — no matter how you try to change the subject or how many words you use.
