  1. Now, GH. Is that anyway to greet a new member?
  2. As I said, best of luck.
  3. Three Canadian and one American snowbird friends say they plan to be here as usual if it will be allowed by then.
  4. If all you said was you would “possibly” need his help what reply did you expect? Anyway, there are other attorneys you may ask. Or, you can just keep asking strangers on sites like this until you hear an answer you like. It might even be correct. Best of luck.
  5. If I understand correctly, you did not have your TIP removed when exiting Mexico. Now you want to return to Mexico with a different car. There may be a way to do this but you need legal advice before showing up at the border with your new car. Talk with Spencer or another attorney down here to find out the best way to proceed.
  6. Bill Maher said NOTHING about ignoring the virus. Neither did I.
  7. First you do not want a comic to offer medical commentary and now you are criticizing Maher because he did not instruct us on the difference between virus and bacteria? I’m confused. I will repeat, all he tried to do was lessen fear and hysteria. But, do not let anyone deter you. Please do cower behind closed doors for the rest of your life if that is what it takes for you to feel safe.
  8. By the way, just rewatched the video. Maher did not offer medical advice. He said nothing controversial or in opposition to what specialists have said. There are people terrified to leave their homes, making themselves crazy with fear. He was talking about going for a walk in the fresh air not suggesting people don’t wear masks and go around licking door knobs.
  9. Folks rambling on a web board are not people I listen to for medical advice either, but here we are.
  10. If you need a degree in virology to express your opinions about Covid19 it is going to get mighty quiet around here.
  11. I was (sort of) joking. Given the fear and greed of some and the propensity for stores here to not keep a large inventory of anything I had visions of 02 bottles becoming the new toilet paper. I believe I have a lower opinion of humans than you do. I always expect the worst from us as a species. So, I was mostly kidding.
  12. Oh great. Soon there will posts from poor souls with COPD and other chronic conditions asking where they might buy the oxygen they need daily since none of the places they usually buy it have any because there was a sudden rush on the 02 bottles.
  13. I have had desserts where Marias and Canelitas were used for crust and crumbles. They were not the same but still delicious. I never asked for recipes so I can not tell you what (if any) adjustments they made. Hopefully someone can answer that part for you.
  14. Maybe you should explain that to these people. “Merry Maids is an international franchisor which sells and supports residential cleaning services franchises throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Merry Maids was founded in 1979, and joined with ServiceMaster in 1988. In 2007, the company had over 8,000 employees.” Wikipedia

    Oh joy!

(Francisco) Madero is the main street in Chapala. When you drive in on Hildago and come to the intersection where the fountain is, where the municipal building is and the church — that is Madero. The restaurant is north of the church on that side of the street.
  16. I was in the store last week and they were in stock. I bought the meat filled ones and they were delicious!

    Min Wah

The OP started this thread because the last one got highjacked. So you come along and attempt to take this one off track too. Instead of talking about positive experiences at Min Wha let’s all start talking about vicious reviewers. You even begin your post by admitting you are giving people something to get fired up about and end with goading them. The irony is you charging people with taking a thread off topic and attacking other posters while doing exactly the same thing. Just start your own thread about vicious restaurant reviewers and leave this one alone.
  18. And, I was not even referring to your post or the latest cases but to Floradude’s (which I quoted in my post) which is the case reported weeks ago. You need to go back and repeat Reading Comprehension.
  19. Yes. There was. And still is. I guess we should be mentioning it to deny these latest cases are real? If that is the point then use your words and just say so.
  20. The American woman was transported to the states. She is no longer here so why would she continue to be mentioned? As for the doctor, she completely recovered from whatever she had so, again, what is there to “mention”?
  21. Also imagine if you will that you have an option to Ignore the stupid speak but continue to read and engage with it for 10 years, everyday, all day while bitterly complaining about it.
  22. Since your OP carried the recommendation, I wrongly assumed you got the information from the CDC and might know. I’m not looking it up because I have no intention of bleaching my masks. Perhaps someone who read your OP and intends to follow the recommendation might want to know the reasoning behind it.
  23. Okay, fine. The point remains that soap, water, and sunshine deal with (better?) virus. So why must masks be washed in bleach when hands are not?
  24. I do not understand either. Soap and water and sun kill the virus. Wash in soap and hot water, then hang in the sun. I see no reason to use bleach. I keep seeing articles that make things more complicated (and scary) than they need to be.
