  1. I too have a Bancomer account and maybe you can answer my question.  I tried to set up another account to transfer to and from my limited Spanish I think it said I could only do that using my cell phone.  Is that correct.  I have done that previously using my laptop, however, things have changed.  Would appreciate your comments.  Thanks.

I re-read my question, and it may not be perfectly clear John. I meant to say that I was trying create the ability to transfer funds from my normal monthly savings account to my investment account, and vice versa, but it appeared the only way to do it was using my cell phone.

To answer your question, the monthly amount required in a savings account is now 4000 pesos each month.

Another question - I can no longer obtain the booklet that shows what businesses allow Bancomer points. Do you have the latest one?  What business do you use the most to obtain Bancomer points.  Look forward to hearing from you.

I only have a checking account at Bancomer so I don't know about internal savings transfers although the web site allows payment of a credit card from checking account.

Normally when you present a credit card for payment the businesses that accept points will ask if you want to pay that way. If you look at the device you'll often see pay by points as an option. I wouldn't be surprised if most business accept points but just neglect to tell you. I know that you can use points for gas purchases, Telcel, CFE bills and so on.

It seems odd that you can't transfer from investment to savings although often times what the banks here call investments must be managed in person. That's the way it works at Actinver.
