  1. I need to talk to someone/anyone who volunteers there. Do any of you have a contact # for anyone connected with Todo Bueno bazar in Riberas?
  2. The scent was very potent to the point that it made me nauseated. If the bag is sealed as it should be, then no musty or other odors or insects should be able to get in. I would hope that unscented would at least be available. The ubiquitous manzana (?) scented toilet tissue and facial tissue also are repugnant to me, so maybe it's just me. I'm learning to be much more careful before inadvertently making purchases of scented stuff.
  3. I have seen and purchased those storage bags that you suck the air out of. Walmart had them a few months ago, but ALL were heavily lavender scented. They were awful INMHO. Mexicans seem to love their scented stuff, it seems to me.
  4. Beatriz Socorro Castellanos. Fluent in Spanish, English, French, dogspeak and catspeak. Reliable and honest. beatrizsocorro2@gmail.com 331-887-4289
  5. I used to get weekly notifications from an individual who listed where and when you could find live music that week. I need to know how to contact that person, or at least where to go for live music on Friday, March 8 thru Monday, March 11. Interested in dinner and dancing. Thank you.
  6. Dra Elizabeth: 766-6113. Store is called El Jardin de Elizabeth. She's good.
  7. I just tried to PM Tiny to find out how he makes his cold-brewed coffee, but I got a message that my inbox was full and that I must delete some before I could send anything. I've been to my account but can't figure out how to delete from inbox. Help!
  8. A note about Lala dairy products. I was told several years ago not to buy Lala because the cows are grazed on arsenic-rich pastures in the northern part of Mexico. Please just do your own research and don't try to nail me for not having verified sources for this info. I don't even recall who told me, but I trusted that source. However, I don't do any cow dairy, so it was not as though I had to give up my Lala products. I do LOVE Juan Diego's local goat yogurt and cheeses and dips! He sells at Tues Mkt,( maybe also Monday Mkt), Superlake, and perhaps Pancho's also, Galo de Allende label. Yum!
  9. Jeri, thank you for your help, but i called that number yesterday (found it in my addy book), but it was just an individual not associated with Upscale Resale. I think it might have been someone who used to run it. Upscale needs to update their fb page.
  10. Thank you, MtnMama, but I'm not on facebook. I went there but couldn't see any contact info because I couldn't get into their page. I hate to think about driving from the west end just to ask a question, but I may have to.
  11. Does anyone have a phone number for them? Do they still have a website? I thought it was UpscaleResaleBazar.org, but that's not it, and it's not dot com dot mx either.
  12. He is very good, IMO, but his chiro treatment is "aggressive." If you have small, delicate bones, then he is probably not for you.
  13. No problem at all in Manzanillo 2 days ago at the gas stations, and since then plenty of traffic on my street, so I don't think there is a problem at all here.
