  1. I bought a 38 special S&W took it to the military base on Ave Vallarta. There is a papelera close to the base which will help you with paper work. Very small charge. Need passport and usual docs. The gun is for home defense only. Which means someone has to be in your home. I paid a wopping 40 pesos for permit. I did have to wait an hour or so. As a member of a gun club I think you can have up to 10 weapons. Long guns and shot guns etc. I buy ammo here in Joco.
  2. At my place for a few days no charge. Now an extended amount of time we can work out something cause they use a lot of electric but, nothing like mentioned above.
  3. I have used Volaris a few times. I always pay for the up graded seats because of my size. They fee you to death, their website is very difficult. Not my favorite but, sometimes necessary for me.
  4. I am sort of a newbe compared to many on this board. I have been living here perk near 19 years business owner dual nationality and have not changed my lifestyle the least ioda.
  5. I wonder how many people know MGTOW.
  6. Kinda of good for hangovers. Just take Ibobuffern as needed but, always check with a Doctor which knows your history.
  7. There are courses called Enfermeria Auxilios. I took the course for Auxiliar Preimeros. Very basic but informational and fun. To be a real Nurse you would need to go to a University. Most here are the first. In my course the first class were things we cannot do. There are classes in Guadalajara to be a geriatric specialist. That is what I would recommend for your friend. One I am familiar with is on Calle Montezuma across from Plaza del Sol.
  8. while soldiers stood by watching.Hello!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I lived in Roca Azul for 3 years and loved it. Only 30 amp power but that is all you will need. down here.
  10. Wow! attitudes have changed since I got my citizenship. I was treated kindly and had smiling faces. Sorry texican.

  13. Ha! I got the same guy with the speech impediment. I just asked if he could speak a little louder that I had bad hearing. He slowed down and spoke louder. It turned out he was the most serious one in that department I dealt with.
  14. Unless they have changed rules on written exam there is no test if over 60. They will challenge you on your verbal skills. They will NOT speak to you in English. I was a pleasure dealing with the department SRE. It has been over three years since my citizenship. So not recent information. They do have a hand out with all the requirements. Pick that up first follow directions exactly. Good luck.
  15. If a person can speak Spanish get a citizenship. I got my passport the same day. The voting ID card makes doing business so much easier and I feel a little more respect. Also I voted.
  16. I don't know if the Mod will let me get away with this but, I have two independent casitas available. There are steps involved so a person will need to be available navigate this. I will accept the same pay as Abbeyfield.
  17. I live near Jocotepec and am co-owner of two nursing homes and use two golf carts which makes our business more efficient with employees moving stuff between our facilities better. However I had to pay a mordidia to ovoid having to having my golf carts confiscated. This new regulation justs sucks. However I only have to pay one time because if the same officer stops me I will insist on a polygraph.. He will loose his job. Trust me they will back down.
  18. I can't remember the exact form. I only held it for a few minutes. At the papelera I used my passport for the information. So take your passport and all above. The wait was an hour or so. I felt safe with all the guns with people there. Army personal was helpful and nice.
  19. You can find the permit on line. I went to the papelrera there by Sorannas just before the base. They downloaded the form and filled it our for me. 25 pesos I think. On the base there is a bank where you pay the fee. IN my days 39 pesos. Ouch! I took my smuggled 38 S&W in just a manila folder which I held closed right to the area where you wait your turn. The soldier just wrote down my serial number disappeared for 20 minutes or so. Used an old type writer finished the form. Waala. Done. I purchase my amo in Jocotepec or Guadalajara.
