This is from several years ago. You can block your number by putting yourself on the do not call list for financial institutions every 2 years here: https://webapps.condusef.gob.mx/reus/app/registro.jsp and for regular marketing calls here: https://repep.profeco.gob.mx/
Four calls this morning at 8 am, all different numbers....
Profeco asks for my number, first the "LADA" then the number....
What is "LADA" ?? is says that 045 and 044 are not "ladas"

I think there are also options on most phones to block numbers that are not in your contacts, that are spam numbers, or to at least ask you if you want to block an incoming call from a number you don't recognize.
I will check that out, thanks

does your phone identify calling number before you pick up? if yes, just don't answer??
Yes, but I don't always have my phone attached to me ( preferably ) but within hearing range, so I have to see who's calling and I much prefer not having to go through the process of hanging up on them two times and going into the menu to "block this caller". Who enjoys that routine ?

Unfortunately I've suddenly been targeted with telemarketing calls everyday, and every time I block the number ...but they seem to have an unlimited supply of numbers to call from. Other than giving up my number and starting over, what can be done ?

I was shocked to learn recently that La Floresta is also without a sewer system, I thought for sure it was connected to the San Antonio system.

ea93 if you find one and actually do a full wrap, post back your experience por favor.
I'm sure there are some places in GDL, but not sure. Quality is probably not up to nob standards yet.

I don't know the name, but it's a printing and sign place, on the south side of the highway coming from Chapala. It's around the hospital.
Sorry I don't have more info.
Now that you've refeshed my memory I think I saw them once wrapping a bus. I'm looking to blacken out some parts of my suv, but not permanently. Lots of complex curves involved. If it were a flat section I could do it myself.

Anyone lakeside installing vinyl wrap on a car ?

Reaching out to see if there is an expat who would be interested in visiting my house to feed my cat and give her some attention twice per day for some $. Location is near Pancho's Deli.
Please Pmail me if interested.
Thanks

Speaking of shoe shopping, how about the HUGE new "6 Estrellas" store in Chapala ? They have to sell of lot shoes to pay for that overhead.

They are building it at record speed with quite a few women workers, very impressive !

A couple of years ago I didn't answer the door because I knew they were beggers. Later on I found the windshield of my car shattered from a rock being thrown at it.
Now I always answer and have some change ready....
