I think in this case the phrase "show up" means different things. Hensley is saying they don't show up for service calls. bmh and NJExpat are saying the monitoring service reacts well in case of an alarm.

Many restauratnt are open on Christmas Day. Superlake is closed. The imported specialty store that was near HSBC across from Walmart closed months ago.

In the 12 years I've lived here Superlake as ALWAYS been closed on Christmas Day. Nothing new. It's the ONLY day of the year they are closed.

Best to check w/ Multiva on receiving a Pesos MX wire. I always transfer $US. I find the exchange rate on the receiving (MX) end to be much better than buying buying Pesos MX up north.

Superlake had only a fraction of the selection of Christmas Candy and Cookies they've had in year's past. A real disappointment.

Please understand two things; Your Mexican mover is responsible for your move IN Mexico. Your US mover will back your stuff and move it to the border.
All restrictions are from the Government of Mexico, not the mover(s).
Strom-White moved us without and damage or difficulty.
