  1. But look at the picture you posted. Pedro. I would hope that you have many pictures that show you in a positive manner. Perhaps you might share one of those instead of creepy ones. . . 😍
  2. Pedro: just start going to the gym and working out. You might try shaving and getting a haircut as well. It will make you look a lot better. I wish you the best.
  3. But Pedro, you have only been lakeside 16 years. Me, since only 1997. I guess that makes us newbies. I was complimenting you Pedro and asked you to keep on posting those funny pictures. So please take my post as a compliment. And please keep on posting funny pictures, especially if you are in them . And please post some funny smiles in the middle of the page, instead of at the beginning. . 😃 😃 .
  4. some of those pictures are very old Pedro But keep on posting funny pictures . , ,
  5. And up here in Seattle, I just picked up my Atorvastatin Rx. At least that is how it is spelled up here. I was prescribed 20mg pills not 80mg. I didn't know there was an atorvastatin tablet available that was so large. I thought it was either 20 or 40mg
  6. Thanks, Go Solar. Now that you explained it, I now remember. I guess I'm getting a little old and forgetful minded. . . .
  7. I'm guessing here. But if this happens every 30 days after payment or adjustment that your phone or Telcel has given you 30 days of time not 60. This is just a guess.
  8. If you average over 3000 KW hours during your 12-month period, you go on DAC. To get off DAC, you have to ensure that you do not reach that 3000 mark during your 12-month period. I think each client has a different 12-month period based upon when he first opened his account. I might be wrong about that. I just know that I left DAC soon after I put in solar panels and have found them to be a great investment
  9. I heard that too, but only if we did not drive to and/or through Guadalajara where they enforced these rules. All I know is that my 2013 Honda CRV only has 26,000 Km on it because I never leave lakeside in my car. At least not yet For me, a long drive is when I go from Ajijic all the way to Mom's Delli or Panchos in West Chapala for lunch or to shop.
  10. Thank you all for your great efforts to help the wonderful dog, to heal him and to return him to his owner. Things could have been much worse, had you all not stepped in to help. AGAIN great job . . .
  11. Yes, I have used both Dr. Gonzalas and his son who is also an Orthopedic surgeon. I too, would highly recommend them.
  12. Gosh, jrod, I sure hope you are wrong
  13. Well. I got my flu shot. And the Doc said I didn't need another Covid Booster, because I just got over a mild case of Covid about 10 days ago. And by the way, if you have had all of your Covid shots as I had, being sick with Covid wasn't that bad, at least not with this old man.
  14. I just got a call from my Seattle Dr.'s office, which is 4 or 5 blocks away, and I shall be walking over this afternoon to get my shot today. So it looks like my problem has been solved. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and private messages with suggestions.
  15. I'm up here in Seattle for my annual early fall visit and will be coming back soon. I just checked my local drugstore to see when they had room to schedule me for a flu shot and the soonest vacancy was almost three weeks away. Are flu shots readily available down there? Thanks in advance for any help.
  16. I wish it gad rained a little more last night, lakeside. Well, there is always today/tonight say I from sunny Seattle
  17. Maybe I am missing something. But I get the same channels from Vancouver and Seattle up here in the north from Shaw that I do when I am in Mexico. Yes my system was installed quite a few years ago on both Vancouver Island and in Mexico, but I get all I need and it is many many channels including East and West coast feeds of the US networks. Nicest of all for me is that the US west coast feeds come from Seattle. Now the east coast ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, and FOX feeds come from Detroit, Michigan and Rochester, NY I also get a lot of other US channels like CNN, FOX, MSNBC on Shaw, I could go on and on like adding BBC, etc to the list. There are so many many channels available from both the US and Canada available on Shaw in Mexico, that I don't need to do any streaming, other than for fun. Some folks from the US are using much larger satellite dishes and are picking up DISH Network. and of course, there is streaming when you want even more options
  18. I just did a Google search, and this is what I got: Shaw Direct is relayed via FSS satellites, Anik G1 and F2. Products: Direct broadcast satellite, Pay televis... Industry: Satellite television Key people: Bradley Shaw (CEO), Paul Macle... Parent: Shaw Communications Shaw Direct - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Shaw_Direct And these two are visible in Mexico
  19. with a four or five foot dish, you will get all the channels you get via satellite up north, down south, it's that simple.
  20. The cost of putting up a slightly larger dish is very economical in Mexico, And Remember, fast internet lakeside is not always available in every neighborhood, I'm lucky, I have 45 Mb/sec down by 10 Mb/sec up where I live. I wish you the best on whatever you decide to do. Oh, and the 600 receiver is popular lakeside.
  21. One can get most if not all the Shaw Channels if they use a slightly larger dish than is used up North. There are any number of satellite dealers lakeside ready to help you set up with the properly sized dish
  22. I always use the guy mentioned above by PNR1. I would add that he is across the street and several doors down the street past Manix. I can't remember the name or address, say I in Seattle for my short annual fall visit
  23. When it comes to Telmex, it all depends upon where you live and the quality of the wiring between you and Telmex. I live very close to the Ajijic Telmex on the mountain side of town, and I have excellent internet service. I pay $499 per month and am getting 50 Mb/sec down by 10 up most of the time. Yet I know folks who live on side streets where the wiring is not that good who are getting less than a third of that. It all depends upon where you live and the quality of the telephone lines between you and the Internet Service provider or ISP I would recommend that you check with your neighbors when choosing a new internet option before trying it yourself
  24. I didn't mean to ask a question. I simply meant to let you know what I experienced last Saturday and will report when I fly back to Mexico (entering in Guadalajara) whether or not I have to complete filling out the INM form and turn it back in. It's no big deal.
  25. As I posted on this board, I flew from GDL to Seattle on Saturday, and the AA ticket agent wouldn't give me my ticket until I filled out and completed as much as I could on the IMM or INM card or whatever it is called. Now will I need the upper part of the card which they gave back to me to use when returning? I don't know.
