  1. Holy Cow. I've been so busy running around looking for solutions I just now noticed the responses to my query. Thanx. Having come up with nothing locally, I'm going to Guad tomorrow. I'll check out Aerosol & if I don't have any luck I may be calling you, Jim. Thanx, again.
  2. Came back from the States with parts of 2 CPAPs left behind. I need to make one of them work. One is a ResMed AirSense 10 for which I need the plug that goes in the right side when one is not using a humidifier. The other is a Resperonics REMstarPlus M Series for which I need a 12V-3A power cord. Any help you can send my way will be greatly appreciated. Trying to sleep in the recliner is getting really old. Thanx.
  3. Where can I get a CURP card in Chapala these days? TIA.
  4. Looking to buy a good king size mattress locally. No memory foam - probably pillow top.Looking for recommendations for an acupuncturist in the area. And I'll try this one again, would like to find somebody locally (Ajijic - Chapala) who knows Reike.

    Arrachera Ajijic?

La Oficina in Chapala has added arrachera to their Wed. only menu and they do a right nice job of it. It's usually too salty for me, but I've enjoyed it at La Oficina. You have to let them know ahead of time that you'll be there on Wed. & how many of you there are. They offer 5 other entrees that they can tell you all about when/if you make reservations. BTW, it's not fancy, but the food is good & they're very accommodating.
  6. There's a fellow on the plaza in Chapala next to Cucumbers, across from José's that does this. Seems quite reasonable. He's looking, after 11 or so years, to sell his operation so…
  7. All the best to you. You have quite a following.
  8. One of my earliest lessons in life was that once you leave home you can never go back. We'll see.
  9. Who knows Reike Lakeside? Knew of a woman a few years ago, but don't know her name or, obviously, how to contact her. TIA.
  10. My wife had a chiropractic 'adjustment' years ago that immediately caused her ears to start ringing. Been ringing ever since. Everybody NOB says there's nothing that can be done to alleviate it. Just occurred to us there might be technologies down here that aren't available NOB. Anybody have any experience with this? Also looking for information on plastic surgeons. We know about Montaña Plaza Doc. Looking for other options. TIA!!!
  11. Thanx for the website (again) JS. Helped me reconfirm my pleasure with our current arrangement. Our US address is in Albuquerque, so that's where we keep a car (with friends willing to let us park it on their property). Per the website, tolls would cost just under 3000 pesos to make the round trip to Juárez where we cross to go to ABQ, plus gas, plus wear and tear, plus fatigue, plus a place to stay probably, etc. So we take the bus. 5000 pesos round trip to Juárez. Sleeping arrangements are as comfortable as my easy chair at home, carry what you want to eat and DRINK along with anything
  12. Place next to the pool store across from the auditorio in Ajijic made a bad pair for me. Luz at the LCS fixed 'em. Very happy with her work. She knew as soon as she looked at my glasses what was wrong with them.
  13. There are a couple of ads on the board at the LCS - somebody selling out everything.
  14. Ok. I'm gonna take a stab at this. You're probably going to get a lot of advice on this topic. My experience has been this. The 'Plan' is called Seguro Popular - I'm sure your husband can pronounce it correctly. I'm on it. Used it for meds for awhile until I didn't need the meds anymore. I have two friends who were hospitalized on Seguro Popular. Both died - not from lack of care, but from extreme poor health. The point, however, is that one was placed in a 50 patient ward straight out of the 1950s. Reminded me of some of the WWII movies I've seen. The other was in a semi-private ro
