  1. f you read me entire post, you would've read that WE ARE NOT MAKING ANY MORE "PROFIT" with the imported vaccines vs. the national vaccine. Which amounts to less than $3 USD.

Although we'd like to give the vaccines away, they do cost us over ($85 USD)  $1700 PESOS .

That is a total top off from Chapala Med! I won't be supporting that clinic any longer.....

The vaccines have been imported from the U.S. through SALVATI A.C. (whom we support in the fight against breast cancer).  It is because of our past work with them that we are even able to import them from the U.S.

The costs for us have been increased and we are not making any more money than if we were selling the national vaccine (which normally costs from $700-800 pesos).

A large part ot the Lakeside community know we support many community projects for the less fortunate. i.e  Student scholarships through PATHWAYS  NINOS INCAPACITADOS,  the fight against BREAST CANCER (through SALVATI) etc. And again, it is through SALVATI A.C. that we are making them available to our patients and others in the community who opt to get them at our clinic.

Please reflect on our dedication to  community service and helping the less fortunate when choosing to support or not support our practice.  Thank you and please stay safe.

Dear Dr. Santiago,  you gave us a phone  number, however, no one answers when people call that number. I have tried all morning, beginning at 9 am through a few minutes ago.  I also sent you a text message, but have not yet received a reply.

Could you possibly post more details?  Will you have the quadrivalent available? If so, when?

    Thank you.

Sorry about that. I will look into that. But you call 376.605.9645 for more information.

  6. The authorities at the check points have allowed members of my staff and patients who come in from Guadalajara to get their medical care at my office when they have signed original documentation from my office stating why their travel is necessary to such an "ESSENTIAL" business such as a medical office or hospital. I would speculate that this would also be the case if you are stopped by authorities while driving on your way to see your doctor.

Plan ahead and get in touch with your healthcare providers to provide you with such documentation.

I am sure that if you need to go to get your dialysis treatments, and you can provide proof of such treatments etc. the authorities should make these exceptions. Just be sure you DON'T have a fever and are wearing those face masks when you are stopped at those check points.

Santiago must be referring to his hospital otherwise he could  just pickup the phone and call Dr. García, who already has appointments scheduled in his new hospital, and not be spreading easily disproved, unfounded negative rumors about the San Antonio facility on local web boards or elsewhere disguised as a question to which  he could easily find the answer if he really wants an answer.

They are not answering questions about the project via phone.   Just a question. No need to think it's negative.

The RIBERA MEDICAL CENTER on the LIBRAMIENTO(Across from El Dorado) is still forging ahead.  Tentative date for opening is June 2019.

Sorry if I stirred up confusion. Please disregard my post if you don't have any further information.

    Happy Holidays to all!

  10. Not yet and not in the foreseeable near future. There manufacturer cannot make enough of it fast enough to keep it in stock for the U.S. market.

The local reps for the company have not been forthcoming with information about it's availability in the next 6 months here in Mexico.

  11. Dr. Evelyn Rodriguez comes to Chapala Med on Saturdays by appointment as well as my Guadalajara office during the week, also by appointment.

She is a top anesthesiologist and pain management physicians who is on staff at CENTRO MEDICO de OCCIDENTE

in Guadalajara. She has helped me manage my patients @ Lakeside and when they have been hospitalized in Guadalajara.

Being an anesthesiologist she is on top of all the new and multi-modal therapies available here in Mexico for pain management.

  12. Since starting my practice here in Lakeside I have had a few patients from some of the previously mentioned Plastic Surgeons listed here come into my office. I was certified in Aesthetic Medicine by a prominent plastic surgeon in Miami. I've seen some patients who've needed work redone by some of those plastic surgeons mentioned.

In my professional point of view, I do believe I can appreciate and thus recommend the most talented plastic surgeon(s) who's work I've seen come into my office. Most have impressive and similar resumes and certifications.

Please allow me to put it to you this way, If you ask a professional highly trained musician he/she will be able to tell you the difference between a "piano player vs. a PIANIST". This type of surgery is an art form. And as with any art form it requires an innate talent.

Talent is a gift that not all are born with or not all have developed to a level of excellence.

    INBOX me for more information.

  13. Lisinopril is available.

I'd recommend you get the name brand if you are planning on buying it in Mexico. It's been my experience that the "Generics/Similars" are not as efficacious as the name brand meds.

In the end, it could end up costing you a whole lot more if you don't keep your Blood Pressure under control as your doctor recommends you do.
