  3. I don't think things have improved much. Since we paid for new batteries this year (nearly 2,000 pesos) and then the 4,800 pesos for the year's monitoring - all on 8 April, our system has not worked at all. They've been out to check it, assured us all was fine, but it wasn't. So basically since the beginning of April our system has not worked at all. I was told by Danny today that the part that was to be replaced or fixed had been "forgotten" by the staff! And was promised a call back about what was being done - today. Nothing yet. They say competition is good for customers, so maybe SmartHome in Laguna Plaza might be worth investigating.

  5. Trivia Quiz - Tuesday, January 12, 2016 Real de Chapala Hotel, Salon Eucaliptus – 2:00 pm sharp Put together a team of 8, or join an existing team that we put together for you. The game is based on multiple choice questions, with one answer per team for each question, so don’t be intimidated by not knowing everything! There are prizes for winning teams, you bring your own "munchies", you choose a team name (some people even dress up in that theme!); prizes for team themes, costumes, etc. The afternoon quiz at 2:00 pm costs 250 pesos/person So if you are interested, please contact Lorna at 766-2793 or at mcintyrelorna@hotmail.com As soon as possible to reserve your tickets!
  6. The next event organized by Niños Incapacitados will be the Trivia Quiz on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. There are in fact two quiz sessions: one at 2:00 pm and the other at 6:30 pm. The afternoon cost is 250 pesos a person and for the evening, 300 pesos a person. Tables are a maximum of 8 people, but if you haven't got a full table, we will find a table for you. This will be held at the Hotel Real de Chapala in Ajijic. The quiz is based on one answer per table to each multiple choice question - so you are not on the hot seat! There will be large display screens and the questions will be read out as well. This is a really fun event - even if you don't win! Tickets for the event sell out fast so please contact Lorna at 376-766-2793 or mcintyrelorna@hotmail.com to reserve your tickets. All tickets must be paid by January 4 at the latest. You need a team name and bring your own munchies. There will be a cash bar open 1 hour before the quiz starts. There will be prizes for the winning teams and for team themes, costumes, etc.
