Last week I ran into the same situation with a delivery. I contacted fedex and even though they wanted to fix the situation for me there's nothing they can do when a package is in the hand of Mexican customs. I wrote an email to the lead Mexican customs official and recieved a response in semi broken English I surmised I needed to update the customs form attached to the

Interesting, they all go to the same place, I wonder why the difference? A nice little revenue generator, there are 113,431,943 passports in circulation and at $140 each, that's over $15.8 billion dollars.

It costs 2315 pesos for a ten year Mexican passport.

About 4 dollars less than an American passport.

Many decades ago, when I had multiple passports for various countries in parts of the world which did not like each other, stamps were frequently avoided beyond the many visas, “for convenience“. My only worry was reaching into the wrong pocket for the wrong passport at the wrong time.  I still like having a neat and clean passport.B)

Were they US passports,is it legal to carry multiple US passports?

Fine will be low (maybe 250 pesos). Since so long ago there won't be record when they entered. Allow an extra hour at airport.

    Wow!

    25 pesos a year!

And here I've filling out forms, waiting in line at the INM and paying thousands of pesos  every year in order to comply with Mexican immigration laws...

  5. Guadalajara draws some of it's water from the lake.

Nobody in Guadalajara drinks unfiltered tap water, not even poor people, they buy garrafones, unless they want "tripas torcidas".

.Fluoride removal is more difficult, as activated carbon is not sufficient. It takes RO to remove fluoride.

"Do you realize that flouridation is the most monstrously concieved and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face?"

    General Jack D Ripper.

  6. I have lived in Mexico for 15 years. 14 with USA plates. I paid enuf mordida to buy another car. Asking for the ticket

has been a useless act. I have had my car confiscated when everything was legal and I had the Laws in Spanish for the Federales tp read. Their response(and other police at other times) was to the effect "I am the Law here".

In the last year plus, while driving a Mexican plated vehicle, I have never been stopped

This same story applies to many of my friends that drive USA plated cars

Oldyfeliz, you and I live in the same part of Guadalajara,I've driven a vehicle with expired Utah plates for ten years here and have never had a problem.

Asking for the ticket,(haz me el folio),is not a useless act.

In ten years I've paid one mordida,100 pesos for a seatbelt infraction, just to avoid the hassle.I do keep a copy of Articulo 106 with my papers and that has been helpful in the past,it also helps to have the right attitude when dealing with transitos or cops in general.

  7. I would guess that beings with the technology to get themselves here and hover about gathering intel have the capability to communicate by other than flashing lights.

I think the flashing lights are used to attract the charales that they feed on.
  8. I counted 15 of those flashing lights in the sky several nights ago. Also several triangles with flashing lights. On clear nights you can see them really "talking" (flashing, red, white, green). This is every night. Take a high powered pair of binoculars and see for yourself.

What do you suppose they're "talking"about?

  9. They do not want to see us destroy our own planet, which is the current human trajectory, if people don't wake up and change! At the same time, they are prevented from intervening per the Galactic Code of Ethics, which is that they cannot interfere with evolutionary free-will beings who have to make their own choices and live by their own consequences.

According to section IV of the Code Galactic (Law of Intervention)they have "the inalienable right to intervine" pretty much whenever they feel like it.
