  1. Oops.. I'd asked for the location, but I see it is given in the heading.
  2. Wow! What a response. Thanks to you all. Now will someone come with me and point to this place, as I drove right by it yesterday on the lateral and missed it... looking exactly where you say I should look. This is happening too frequently lately! Why do they say missing something like this is overlooking it? I think I underlooked. At any rate, many many thanks to everyone who took the time to help me out on this.
  3. I looked for the post office in the location each of Multiva and couldn't find it. Have they moved it again?
  4. Joco Gal, I recently had a very bad few bouts with asthma and actually ended up going to hospital in an ambulance and spending the night on oxygen in the emergency ward. Friends purchased a plug-in oxygen fabricator at Guadalajara Farmacia and since battery-powered machines are so expensive in Mexico, ($5,000 American) I bought a little machine at the auto supply place near Walmart that plugs into your cigarette lighter in the car and allows you to plug in electrical devices. There are two medical supply places where you can buy or rent oxygen tanks or oxygen concentrators as well.
  5. Thanks for the info. I found two at Costco.. also with washable filters. I'll check out Mercado Libre for other needs. I appreciate your answer, Jabonera.
  6. I found one at Costco that removes dust, pollen, chemicals, bacteria and viruses from the air! So, please disregards my former message.
  7. My i-Phone has suddenly suffered a nervous breakdown. It first just flashes sparkling little golden confetti and then starts scrolling very large words in fast succession. Does anyone know what might be wrong or know where I should take it locally to have them check it out? Is there any hope for it or should I start the search for a new phone?
  8. Does anyone know where I could buy a room air purifier that will remove dust and pollen from the air? I would also like a humidifier so if the two were combined, would be great. I have much dust from construction coupled with a recent severe asthma attack so need this asap. Thanks for your response...(I have looked at Walmart, Steren, Guad Farmacia and Hardware stores.)
  9. So sorry to hear this. I was there a couple of days ago and he didn't mention leaving. Loved his pulled pork. I'll miss the little place.
  10. Yes.. after a day I suddenly remembered I have three mice.. one tiny one that wore out after a day's use and another standard plug-in plus a bluetooth that I haven't had time to charge up and get working. It is hectic around here. The mouse has saved me, although it is a pain to use since I'm never at an actual desk..but I will call the guy above when I have a minute and will report back.. Such a strange problem to have. Thanks to all who took the time to give advice.
  11. Thanks so much, Matagorda. That's exactly what I need! Fingers crossed.
  12. thanks... yes. I have used them a number of times, but they would need to take it back to Guad. I can't part with it if any other solution is possible. Again, thanks for taking the time to answer!
  13. I dropped my Macbook Air, flat on the floor, lid closed, right side up, but not the trackpad won't work. Everything else is fine. I am also trapped in my house due to house construction and can't leave. Does anyone know a good Mac repairperson who will come to my house, or failing that, one I can go to but get in right away? I live in the Raquet Club and really don't want to have to drive in to Guad. I think perhaps it is just out of alignment with the case and it will just take opening it and closing it again. Hope. Hope. But, I hate to do it myself and I believe they have a special little tool to open it that most mini screwdriver sets do not have. I will owe you big time if you can help. My computer is vital right now. Thanks.."Restless in the R. Club."
  14. I am about at wit's end.  Two weeks without wifi, I have called tech help twice, been to Telmex and still no one has come to fix my line.  Tonight I've been on the phone for one hour trying to get tech help and every time they disconnect me, even though I asked the tech help in Spanish to stay on the line until I'm connected to the English tech help.  Do you know anyone who could check my line?  One techie said it was probably in the logic board... but don't know where that is.  I do know for the past two years it has gone off and on whenever there is wind or rain, but this time it is off for good, even when no wind or rain.  The problem is not in my computer as I've been using my phone hotspot as a router and the computer (a Mac) connects to it, but it is getting expensive!!! I went and got a new modem but it only shows power light and the SPS/WLAN lights.  Rest  of the lights are off. I leave in two days and want to get this up for my house sitters.  Desperate in the Raquet Club!!!  Any advice? Is there anything you could do if it is in the line or do you know someone other than Telmex capable of checking this out?  Time is running out.  Thanks.
