  1. Johanson, your cats are not exactly cutting off the lizard's tails. Many lizards especially the house gecko will easily drop its tail when threatened. All a cat has to do is pin the lizard down by its tail or just simply touch ithe tail and the tail will immediately come off and may still be wiggling for awhile to the amazement of the cat while the lizard makes his big escape and later over time he will regenerate that lost tail.
  2. Most nurseries here have trees that, in time, will grow into large trees. Some will grow faster than others.
  3. Thank Johanson. I finally called the hospital to make an appointment. If you search his name on google you find mostly old and outdated information. Thanks.
  4. There are two for sail on Mercado Libre under limón Kaffir. One for $800 and the other for $950.
  5. Hello, does anybody have current contact information for Dr. Ramón García García. All the information I can find dates back to 2013 and his numbers appear to have changed. Or is the best way to contact him for an appointment through the San Antonio hospital?
  6. After further research I think I may have finally identified this mysterious plant. Indeed it is a hydrangea called the Hydrangea Macrophylla Lanarth White. https://images.app.goo.gl/ydh8KiXGhquLNyfE7
  7. When I search Plumbago Auriculata on google images, the pictures I see look like the same Plumbago that I see growing everywhere around here including my yard. But going back to the OP's original query, she never mentioned if it were fragrant or not. I think it looks similar to Jasmine Tobacco. Some of the pictures on google show Jasmine Tobacco as having large green leaves and almost identical flowers.
  8. Has the malecón in Joco even opened up yet? The Chapala is still closed.
  9. Does anybody in Chapala or the area currently have the fiber optics high speed internet provided by iFibra? We have been trying to get higher speed internet, but Telmex currently does not have it available on our street yet and today we were given a flyer stating that iFibra is available on our street. Has anybody tried them yet and how has your experience been. Thanks.
  10. I remember more light, short rains in May, not this heavy either. This feels more like rainy season rain. But I know in my heart that the real rainy season almost always begins after the second week of June.
  11. I'm still getting it in Chapala Centro. Its getting down right heavy.
  12. Thanks to all those that washed their car today. It is now raining heavily in Chapala!
  13. No, looks like México will now have to wait till December for that since legalization has been postponed due to the Coronavirus.
  14. Its a good delicious rain in downtown Chapala right now.
  15. The common flu has a vaccine every year that a little over 50% of the Us population get yearly. Let that sink in! Coronavirus still does not have a vaccine. Roughly 60 thousand Americans have died from the flu just this year also it is said that roughly 60 thousand Americans have also died from the Coronavirus. Imagine if there were no vaccine for the common flu, I really wonder which would be more deadly.
  16. Yes, but TEN times more contagious is far from saying TEN times more deadly. Remember that more than 98% of the population that get it recover and do not die.
  17. Yes, a percentage of the population certainly being the elderly and enfermed need to be alarmed, but certainly not the grand majority of the population as in the young and working population that keep the economy churning.
  18. The today's media is not evil and it is not all fake news, but it is all a money making business not so much to inform but to be lucrative. Who could possibly deny that? But an all around excellent, interesting and an informative piece.
  19. I am no way supporting or standing up for Trump in any way, but in all honesty, the truly biggest difference is how the media is telling it and over telling it and creating an atmosphere of fear and paranoia for the American public.
  20. The translation is slightly off, he wasn't an unidentified man he was a man without ID according to the original Spanish version.
  21. So does this mean that the man detained without an ID who had obviously been drinking was the director of the Chapala Preparatory school? Or is this just pure rumor or speculation right now?
  22. I posted them backwards, please watch part 1 first!
  23. I posted this video in the Ajijic/Chapala section but it was deleted almost immediately. So, here is the full video. Please watch both parts. I know you if you watch part 1 you will immediately watch part 2 because it his an intelligent and logical response debate. These two guys are just smart!
  24. This video was produced by ABC, it is not political or partisan in any manner. The video only goes to show the most recent data about Covid-19 how it is being replicated in the state of California. And by using the same statistical method showing how the virus is spreading around the world. This video is now virile and You Tube has already deleted it several times, why is Chapala.com trying to censor it?
