Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions you can give regarding Ad Blockers. I am getting alot of ads interrupting things I watch or listen to on You tube. I had the laptop overhauled with a new hard drive so starting from scratch. I have the newest version of Windows 10. Computer is MSI A 5000.

This has been a very relevant thread for me as I exited and returned in January of this year and I found the process confusing and disconcerting. At the GDL airport, I obtained the form, and an agent partially filled it out for me and some things weren't correct, so I fixed them. I was flying GDL to TJ which is a national flight and then used the CBX bridge.I could find no one to process the paperwork. I was told to just turn it in on the way back in which I did and my passport was stamped and he seemed to know what to do. But the whole process at different borders has not been consistent. I am RT with a work permit and do not wish to lose the status as 1 1/2 more years and I will gain a permanente. I'm going to try to find this office and make an effort before entering the USA. I believe it is the best thing to do.

I just may go in there tomorrow to INM and double check for advice.

I went thru that way in January this year. No place to check out of the country, but I did check back in correctly when i came thru the CBX and way back to GDL. no problems but it did scare me that there was no place to "check out". I tried several places, they refused. It was confusing and made me worry as i have a work permit that cannot be cancelled or you start over. That means all the years of work don't count toward permanente and you have to pay all fees and do paperwork as if you never had that visa. Thankfully, no problems.

BDmowers was a little off on the Chapala open mics. yes the El Patio is on Thursday but my Open Mic which is more in a coffeehouse setting is on Friday at Historica Buenos Ayres Cafe, corner of Morelos and Zaragoza a few blocks before American Legion, same side of street. This Friday, we have open mic from 6-7pm and a special show from 7-8 where James Martin and I are playing country songs in the round. You should come and check us out. it would be great to have a fiddle player around.  also you can go on the following sites to see what's up in the entertainment listings.

I have worked in some of the companies located between lakeside and the city teaching executives and accounts and the like business english. pays well, and your finance background would be an asset.

Consider gaining the TEFL Certificate in a quality certificate course in Guadalajara. Check out programs for such at Vancouver Language Center, ITTO and used be be one of their teacher trainers. It's a quality course. One month intensive. The school promises you work after you receive the certificate, and there are schools that hire Native Speakers here at lakeside. I have been teaching in Guadalajara and lakeside on and off since 2006. I really enjoy this type of work.

I just moved and now have a surinam cherry tree on my front terrace and i am loving those. I haven't had those since I lived in Hawaii. Also, in Hawaii, we had the "ice cream bananas" but they were not blue. Ned Small, you questioned the ice cream quality, and I found that it was in the creamy texture that differed from ordinary bananas.

I am in heaven with the surinam cherry tree. A  handful a day keeps the doctor away.

The LCS no longer hosts the singles group but gave me a number. Ron Bawra 766-2644. ajijicsingles.org. he says they meet about once a month.

Mainecoons, the  Singles group is no longer listed in the activities in the November LCS newsletter. I asked about it today in the office and I was told something like it kind of is and kind of isn't connected to LCS, whatever that meant. They dug up a number from the cardex. I haven't called it yet. 

To the OP. I'm 63, been back here two months and keep thinking I should move to a place with younger energy, but I have a reason to be here currently. It's easy and familiar and suits my needs. Probably will move on in 4 years. I keep filtering through lots of activities to find like-minded. 

who did you have do it? (install drain) I loved BDL's post. I always soaked the clothes in the alberca with soap, then rubbed on was board side. then used hose to rinse, then ran to clothes line after ringing out with clothes still dripping. sloppy as it was , i made i work. nice to know how the real deal is done.
