Thanks, yes. A friend who ordered from them 1-2 weeks ago just told us she believes they are “on vacation this week”. Tried their email and did find their phone #, will call tomorrow.

Has anyone used this service recently? We used them in the past but haven’t for 7 months and are having some trouble connecting with them. I am referring specifically to “Lakeside Shopping Services”....they deliver from Costco. Gracias.

Anyone over 60 who, under previous buttons could go out for groceries or to pharmacy or other necessary place, medical, etc. (and still can), theoretically now must “stay at home” and not go to the restaurants, which are 50% open.....probably won’t happen Lakeside. -
Does anyone know why there was no garbage pickup Saturday, at least in southeast Ajijic? Just wondered if it’s likely to be picked up Monday or Tuesday so I can put it out again. Really piling up on the corners.

Carlos is excellent and we used him for the same problem. Has been back as a general electrician as well but is a fire log pro. Polite, friendly, excellent English. -
Terrible news, we are in shock. COVID is all around but so hard to take; he and his sons have driven us for 11 years.

We had an excellent experience in late May there with a total knee replacement, including the docs, nurses, meals, and business office and COVID precautions.

It has been 500 pesos for some time, not sure if it went up recently. -
We wanted toilets with a little more height, bought them at Home Depot in Guadalajara, fit them in our Honda CRV, and had a local plumber install.

RollyBrook is still the best source re aguinaldo, vacation, and holiday pay. Often especially in early December people wonder “what is the going rate” when there is an objective formula used for all 3.

We are in PV for 10 days and even when not a cloud in the sky the humidity is either 98 or 99%. Like that midMay to midOctober.....

The Best Buy at the new Punto Sur was excellent, both in price but especially patient service.

Yes Rick. In the US at an ATM I requested $200 and it gave me two $100 bills.....

We are wondering specifically about whether and how much spouse of patient needs to assist patient on an overnight stay. Are they required to stay? Place to sleep in room? This particular surgery is not major but requires one night stay. Bring your own pillow, etc.? Thanks in advance.

BBVA/Bancomer Debit Card Expiration
adolphsj replied to adolphsj's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Gracias! -
Our Bancomer debit cards indicate they expire end of November. Do we go in and see a banker early November or do they have the card ready well in advance (doubt)? Do both wife and myself have to go in person vs just one going in with both cards, passports, acct information, etc. Gracias in advance.

Weekly Summary Covid Cases in Chapala
adolphsj replied to Bisbee Gal's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Thanks for providing this. It has been one of the measurements in the US which has been a reliable indicator, even if not acted on aggressively enough.
